    • Was worried, but turned out to be a great replacement

The media could not be loaded. I was concerned with others having issues with measurements, but I followed their directions and mine turned out great. These are the blackout blinds, and other than the sides where the blind stands off from the window frame NO light gets through! My previous blinds were old and needed to be replaced. Luckily, they had the size printed on a sticker in the blind, but the size matched the measurements I got following the sellers guidance in the description. The seller quickly emailed to verify size. I provided the previous dimension and the seller agreed it was likely the correct size. The blinds arrived 10 after order, even with 2 days of emails to confirm size. I found the brackets to work very well ( although I didn't follow the instructions to insert plastic insert and mounted directly into wood frame). I have seen others complain about the plastic tabs, and I agree that they look cheap, but so far are actually working well for the couple of weeks they have been installed. My old blinds didn't have tabs, so I wasn't concerned with them initially. Time will tell how well they hold up, but for now they appear to be a good value, and great fit. ... show more

This is a very nice product, and was super easy to install on my own. Easy to open and close. My only problem is they don’t have 1/4” options. My window is 32” wide. I got 31.5”, and it’s slightly too narrow. The area covered is great though!

I ordered two of these and both were 4.5" too big. Appears to block light well but useless to me. Hoping the seller ships a new one asap. The "QC PASS" sticker right beside the label adds a nice dose of irony. Clearly quality control does not involve any measuring, quite surprising for products that are manufactured to be a very specific length. Update: the seller responded and promised to send a new blind. Great customer service but still waiting for the new product. ... show more

These blinds couldn’t have been easier to put up. The brackets have an ingenious design that once put up, the blinds easily snap onto. The instructions were a bit skimpy but the only thing I don’t understand what the thing in the photo is supposed to do.

I held off writing a review for a while and hopefully it will be clear to other potential buyers why I did. I browsed a long time looking for a set of replacement blinds for our home office window. It is an awkward size (47"w x 76"h) for a box store purchase of horizontal blinds. Finally decided to go with this set of blinds as I could get the custom size necessary to fit at a reasonable price. After reading and re-reading the 'how to measure' sections over and over to be sure I didn't mess anything up, I ordered the (46.5"x78") set of cellular shades. The customer service, contacted me the same day through Amazon to verify size, color, etc. as custom orders could not be returned. I verified the order and about two weeks later (custom cut and shipping time from China) I was happy to receive the blinds. Then things went a little sideways as I went to try and install them and discovered I had been sent blinds 47" wide though I had ordered (I double checked both the order and confirmation conversation) 46.5" wide. (Potential customers, BELIVE the 'how to measure' instructions for inset window placement!) I re-opened the conversation and began the slightly tedious process of trying to return the incorrect size and get the correct one shipped to me. This involved sending pictures of the incorrect product, labels, measurements, etc.. Initial responses though polite and apologetic, were not encouraging as I was instructed to take the blinds down (they never went up) get more photos (I sent more) and then was instructed to try and put the blinds I had been sent up to see if they would "be suitable for the window." I explained I had ordered (as instructed, the window size minus 1/2 inch for clearance for inside a window mount) the 46.5 because the 47 was the window frame size. Customer service continued to apologize for the inconvenience and finally assured me a new 46.5"W x 78"H blind would be sent ASAP. I got another message that the 46.5"x78" replacement was sent the following day. Another two and a half weeks for shipping time, and I finally got the correct size. The replacement went up easily, looks very nice, and works great as blackout blinds. Ultimately, the Boolegon customer service did provide me with good service and has left me a (mostly) happy customer. Really, I would really like to leave 4 1/2 stars (deducting for the hassle of the incorrect first blind being sent to me) but since in the end I have the blinds I wanted and paid for without having to pay anything for the correction process other than some patience and a few extra weeks, I have rounded up to 5 stars for the overall experience. ... show more
