My husband and I put it together without much fuss. it fit perfectly in the spot and looks so nice. it was more sturdy than I expected it to be in the cross pieces in the back really give it a lot of solid structure. I like how open it is. I really really like the hooks on the side so I have a place to hang my camera and my flashlight for when the power goes out. Definitely worth every penny. We put it in our mudroom where we have a pretty narrow space next to the door and this shelf was just thin enough to fit along the wall and still allow the door to open. I purchased this to store my singing bowls and towel warmer on at my massage clinic. It works perfectly! I absolutely love it in my space. The wall anchors are a must though, otherwise it's pretty unstable. With the wall anchors, it hardly moves at all and I have zero worries about my singing bowls safety. I got the mid sized option and was even thinking about getting the largest one for more room up top. But either way, I love this! ... show more

Was pretty worried when I saw all the little holes marked on the shelves and the bigger screws that were to be inserted. I thought I was going to have to drill them a bit bigger; but once aligned the screws went right in and was easy. 2 wishes. The fatter allen wrench had a straight side to it. The screws on the bottom were hard with the angled wrench. Luckily I have so many that I had one that was straight which allowed faster tightening. The second is watch all the frames. Each one has 2 very small hole marks on one side, these all need to face the same way. They hold the crisscross bars. It isn't really noted in the instructions. There are bubbles showing them but you don't really know what they are until the end and then ooops! A BOLD notation would be fantastic!!! Luckily I only had one wrong and it felt like it was less than 5 minutes to take out the screws, turn it around, and put them back in. Looks nice and I like that I can change the spaces between the shelves if I decide to. ... show more

This is a solid bookcase, I was a little nervous with the particle board shelves but as long as you don’t over tighten the screws they’re fine! The case overall is light but it doesn’t wiggle at all and holds all of my collection well. Definitely worth the money and very sturdy!
