Secret is: don't follow confusing strapping instructions! Instead wrap strap around front portion only. Tighten down. Then move back the kickstand as that's only needed for setup and may hit a rut during transport. Ran this extensively through our rutted yard and did not collapse once or give any problems at all. Dollie works well like this. Sure wish we had it a week ago when I had to drag our plastic kayaks across rocks to and from the dirt ramp. Pics show installed under heavier and wider kayak. The Bonnlo mini cart works great! I have used it about 5-6 times on bumpy grassy / rocky terrain and on smooth paved paths. I have had no issues using the one strap provided with the cart. I have two different kayaks I use it on, a Future Beach Trophy 120 and a Perception Hi Life 11.0 Both kayaks have different shaped bottoms but there is no issue. Sometimes the yaks may lean to one side a but when its positioned correctly that doesn't happen. When strapping the cart down make sure to loop the strap around the front facing bar from where you are pulling the yak, do not strap from the back bar. position the cart straight and evenly under the yak and strap it down tight!! Adding an additional strap to the back bar would definitely help but I don't find it necessary. The only thing I would say I do not like is the middle strap fixed to the cart does not allow the cart to fully lock into place. I have had no issues but I would not recommend trying to alter the strap by any means. I feel over time it will stretch an eventually allow it to fully lock in. Very good product, I definitely recommend it! I was skeptical at first to buy a budget cart but to not regret this buy at all. ... show more

Far and away this is the worst designed product, you can afford to buy this product you can't afford the damage strain and anger it is going to bring you because it is a poor design that snaps closed every single time you try to mount your kayak to this. I actually put it together very quickly but it just seems like kind of a hassle to use it. Seems easier for me to just pick up the kayak and carry it than to mess with this. I'm 65 years old and 5' tall so I was hoping for something to make life easier...

The tires are not solid but hollow plastic. If I leave my kayak on it over night, they get flat spots. Dolly collapses when you hit a bump, so had to tighten down the bolts all the way, which defeats the purpose of a collapsable dolly. Also, my pelican kayak rolls side-to-side on the dolly. You can't tighten the strap enough to prevent the rolling. Didn't have an opportunity to return it, within the window, since I bought them for my kayaks at the beach and wasn't able to get them tried out in time. ... show more
