I got this for my daughter for her 7th birthday. I thought she’d enjoy this microphone, and I was right! She’s already very loud, and loves to sing while she plays. When I saw some reviewers had complained about the volume not going high enough on this, I knew it was the one for us. 😂 Seriously, though, the volume is plenty high. When she turns the volume and echo both all the way up and runs around yelling into it, it’s enough to make me question my life choices. My 2 year old has become very attached to it and they fight over it - which is terrible because their screams are amplified by the microphone they’re fighting over. Due to quarantine I will be ordering another for the toddler, for my own sanity. I initially tried streaming karaoke songs (no vocals) from YouTube but the kids struggle to remember lyrics so they prefer that I just play the songs with vocals from my phone that they already know (sort of) and love. It was easy enough to figure out how to pair to my phone, I didn’t need instructions. The case is very sturdy, and much better quality than I anticipated. I saw many similar microphones for $5-10 less, but they didn’t come with a case, so that was one of the main reasons I got this one. It is worth the extra few dollars. In summary: super fun and super annoying toy for a child. I simultaneously regret this purchase and wish I had had the foresight to buy two. ... show more

Bought for her birthday (7th) this year, at her request. She sings at the top of the stairs. In her bedroom. In the living room. Embarrassingly, in the backyard where the neighbors can hear. And she's on it with abandon for what seems like an eternity. It apparently can store and play songs, but she makes up her own, repeating lyrics over and over, with clear, crisp sound. Recently, she discovered the echo slider. We call this her "arena rock," era. Hers is a brassy peach/pinkish metallic color and flashes colored LEDs like a portable disco. As if hearing it from 4 rooms away wasn't enough--we get a light show when she comes near to serenade us. She is living her dreams as the rockstar she always new she could be. She loves it and has never been happier. For that reason alone, we wouldn't have done it differently. Covid lockdown is monotonous and the three of us are all entertained when the mic out and the show begins. But still. It's loud AF and we celebrate when it needs to be charged. We bought this for my daughter on her 8th birthday and she has loved it. It comes with a nice protective storage case and the instructions are simple/easy to follow. It paired right away with my iPhone and the singing fun began. The level and quality of sound that comes from the microphone speaker is really great, I expected it to be a lot less but was happily surprised. My kids love these mics! We ordered two for family karaoke nights. They love the echo effect. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is when the volume for the voice is up all the way it distorts a little bit but these aren’t professional mics or anything so it’s fine. otherwise these are a hit!
