Bought it for my niece and she enjoys it. The fold out mat is decent quality and the animals are thick and sturdy. The only small issue is the trees tips over easily to because it's thin at the bottom and heavier at the top. Over it's a good set.

I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews. Perhaps the manufacturer has improved the produce since the other reviews, but I just received my kit (on sale so I paid less) and am pleased with my purchase. The animals are a litle smaller than I expected, but not too small. The zoo pad is felt and seems to be of good quality. All my animals stand up without problem as do the trees, except one, and I think if I bend it a bit it will be fine. I don't notice any sex organs on the animals and if there are extremely small and blended in. I doubt anyone would notice. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase and I believe my 3 year old grandson will be too. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I think this set of animals is just "OKAY." Theres really nothing special about them besides the fact that is comes with small carrying case and a fun little mat. My biggest disappointment is in the animal figurines themselves.(THE MAIN POINT OF PURCHASE) The moose and the hippo in our set will not stand. And while this may seem like small detail, its really not when it comes to figurines like this. You can also tell they used their finest painted figurines for the comparison picture, as this are just average with a few paint smears and a couple mostly being pretty flawed. Its for kids, so they won't know the difference, but had I paid full price $30+ I would have sent it back and purchased a different set. I included a video of the moose to show that it will not stand and a few close ups of the animal for reference to paint flaws. ... show more

    • Exactly what I was looking for!
I was looking for farm animals that were realistic and Large for my grandsons. I was very happy to see they are exactly what I wanted. None of the animals were small enough to be a choking hazard so I feel safe letting my 18 month old grandsons play with them.

This is a really nice set of zoo animals. The animals are realistic looking and I really like that it give me the ability to teach my granddaughters about these jungle/ zoo animals! I thought they would be a little bit bigger because they are definitely a bit smaller than I expected. The case to keep them it nice but not really anything special or that will last. The zoo playmat is nice to have and the girls love matching the animals to the ones on the mat. All I’m all it’s a nice set, especially for the price I paid - as a lightening deal. ... show more

    • Disappointed, not the size or quality I expected...
While the animals look nice, the over all size of the whole play set, for the price, was disappointing. The animals should be a lot larger in order to easily stand up. The mat should be able to be stored in the container with the animals and should be a material that does not hold creases. The palm trees should not even be sold for a child to play with. Their trunks were small , the palm branches were willowy and they wouldn't stand up on the mat. They are a danger because the green palms come off the trunk and could be put in a toddlers mouth and cause choking. Our toddler didn't know what the painted trees on the mat were because they didn't look like the palm trees. The mat was folded several times and to try to get it flattened to the point that the animals or the trees could possibly stand would require a stiff ironing. While our grandson liked the animals it was not a gift that he picked out to play with because the pieces didn't work together . Disappointed It shouldn't cost more than $12 ... show more
