I am impressed with the sturdiness, ease of assembly, look and feel of the table. The whole thing is stout! The footrest is rock solid and doesn't make the table wobble when you rest your feet on it and move against it naturally. I couldn't find a flaw in the manufacturing and milling of the tabletop or the legs. The only flaw? is that if you adjust the height of the tabletop more than a tiny bit up, it gets a little wobbly. To be fair, I may be doing it wrong, but in its lowest position, tightened down, the tabletop feels fused to the assembly and wonderfully stable. ... show more

Very sturdy table, doesn't wobble and adjusts to the perfect height for whatever chairs you have. I definitely do not care for the deep grooves on top though. If you go to write something, you have to have it on something else or your own will go right through the paper. The edges are same but not stained. The media could not be loaded. This is a well built high top bar table with an industrial look. The base is made of steel and the top is a beautiful weathered oak. The top has a steel screw that allows the height to be adjusted from 40” to approx. 50”. What I found particularly appealing about this table was it’s strength. I collect railroad memorabilia and I recently purchased a 200 lb cast iron/brass steam engine bell and needed a way to display it in my morning room. I found this high top table on Amazon and it worked perfectly. To increase stability (so it won’t fall over in an earthquake), I anchored it to the wall with a steel rod.
