The media could not be loaded. Mine delivered 5v on the nose . I managed to get 7 separate circuits on it. All the parts worked and tested spot on . My first time using a breadboard and this little kit was very fun !

  • The parts are fine but there are no instructions. Search for Electronics.
Liked parts and packaging. Liked magnifying glass to read part numbers. Advertising was accurate. Price and shipping were fine. Just no help in using parts. Needed paper or web site or you tube search criteria. Go to Bojack Electronics Fun Kit on you tube. Nice videos and info there. With those videos this becomes a five star product. How much cost would it have added to print info to find helpful information in the package? ... show more

  • Awesome Beginning Electronics Kit
The price of this makes it very attractive, given everything you get with it. I bought a separate kit thinking I'd need both, but barely touched the other one. As a child, many years ago, I had an electronics kit as a Christmas gift. I quickly lost interest because it was so limited. But this one has exponentially more possibilities. I've used it with microcontroller projects and to follow along on an electronics course. I have recommended it to others as well. Only oddity - there's an item referred to as "IC Chip" which turned out to be a shift register. That was pretty fascinating but it should have been labeled. It makes me wonder if they are randomly throwing ICs into their kits like a cracker jack prize. Have fun! ... show more

I had been messing around with a Circuit Simulator on Steam called Crumb, and wanted to buuld some of my prototypes. This was a great kit for me to start up my side project. :)

I bought this kit because I just needed an assortment of components (resistors, LEDs, and a breadboard) to build simple test circuits to measure light levels vs currents supplied by the 27 VAC connection to our furnace.   • Power supply module missing a jumper cap for a power rail
The kit arrived on time and in good shape, but was missing one of the two jumper caps required to set 5v or 3v to the left/right rail. That omission renders the board roughly 50% useful. To get a replacement cap would cost ~$5.50 (for a bag of 30) which is a third of the cost of the kit. I ordered an Arduino power supply that ships with an extra power module - and caps. At some point I will visit a PC repair shop and ask for some jumpers. Edit: the kit ships with a power supply module - but without a power supply. While the kit does have a power cable for the 9-volt and a 12" USB cable, BYOPS (Bring Your Own Power Supply), be it a 9-volt battery, a spare wall wart or a powered USB port. Edit: after finding Paul McWhorter's excellent tutorials, I purchased an Arduino kit that is due to arrive today . ... show more
