  • Praise these magic tablets
I've been eating ibuprophen like candy for 20 years. Every month, so many pills just to get through the day. It's definitely not great on the stomach! Then, I found these natural cramps tablets and, holy cows, my life has changed. I go through at least a sheet (or two) per cycle, but they work better than 4 ibuprophen- and faster! AMAZING! AND they're homeopathic! My whole body feels SO much better overall. I'm in awe. My whole life has changed. SOOOO HAPPY I found these. Thank you for making them!!!! ... show more

  • Amazing! Most negative reviews seemed to be those who’ve been taking heavier medicine
I’ve had different types of menstrual cramps throughout my years (I’m 28) and I’ve never ever taken any kind of medicine with it, so keep it in mind this might have strongly influenced my experience. I sometimes had really bad cramps (once I even fainted at the airport) when I was going through emotional/damaging relationships etc, but over the past years I’ve been taking care of myself mindfully through yoga and good diet, so my cramps have been limited to just 1-2 hours of bad (yes, still bad - pain, nausea, etc.) cramps on my first day only. I decided to try natural medicine for the first time because those 1-2hrs of intense pain have been driving me crazy and can be annoying if it coincides with work, etc, so here I am. This worked like magic. Followed the instructions, and while I did feel a bit dizzy like I normally do, the symptoms were super gentle and did not plummet into the usual pain. I coupled it with a heating pad on my belly and rested in my bed on my first day - no pain whatsoever and very cozy. I took a fourth dose only because the dizziness came back for a tiny bit and I was worried it might worsen, but I don’t think next time it’ll be necessary. I read through all the negative reviews just to see if people are experiencing side effects, etc. (didn’t see such reports I don’t think); it seems that most of the ladies who said this “doesn’t work” have been using much stronger and less natural medicine. I’m no doctor, but based on some basic knowledge about herbalism and natural medicine, I think it’s fair to expect that your body will need time to adapt to and adjust to the effects of a homeopathic medicine if you’ve gotten used to the shock of stuff like Advil/ibuprofen or something even stronger. It may not mean that this doesn’t work or doesn’t work as well... it may just mean that your body needs some time to rewire and get used to another way of receiving help. For example, if you’re used to being knocked out by sedatives (essentially the effects of some of those stronger medicines) when you want to rest, it might take some time to adjust to the calming effects of a soothing balm/massage. I know others have had similar experiences with homeopathy and unfortunately during this time you may experience some transitioning difficulties, so please chat with a physician or herbalist about this. Otherwise, if you’ve not been using heavy medicine and would like to give natural stuff a try, I’d strongly recommend - I’ll never go anywhere without it now. Also just a gentle suggestion, please still do take care of your body emotionally and physically besides fighting the pain itself - paying attention to how I’m feeling and being aware of my body on a daily basis have helped tremendously with pain relief during my periods. • Works like a charm!
They are small but they work like a charm and instantaneously! The taste is even fine. They do not taste medicinal at all and it does not have an unbearable taste. You place them under your tongue like a liquid tincture and they work immediately. You can take them up to twelve tablets a day I believe, but two works wonders. ... show more

  • Possibly not for those of us with more severe cramps
I'm a 25 year old female and from the age of 16-22, I was on the pill solely because of my painful cramps. After doing my own research and discovering just how bad those synthetic hormones are for you and your body, I took myself off and I've been searching for natural remedies ever since. I have tried cramp bark, essential oils, raspberry leaf tea, ginger tea, magnesium, exercise, heating pads, you name it, it's been done. I stumbled across this brand in Whole Foods and actually ordered it off of Amazon a month ago to try during my next cycle. The day before Aunt Flo comes to visit I get cramps on a 1-10 pain scale of about 3-4, then my first day is usually in the range of 5-7, followed by the second day being around 4-5 and tapering off from there. As a reference I would usually need to take about 4-6 Advils (liquid gel) per day for 3 days to keep my cramps at bay, which is certainly not great for the stomach. In order to truly test the efficacy of this product, I did not take any Advil. I started taking this the morning Aunt Flo came to visit and found that I needed to take about 8 to feel the cramps lessen. I would say taking this amount reduced my cramps from a 6-7 to about a 3-4. They did not completely go away but it did make a slight difference. I continued to take doses throughout the day and, when I finally reached the end of the day, I had taken roughly 20, 1/3 of the box. I eventually gave in and took Advil. For someone like me that has fairly painful cramps, these don't get the job done on their own. However, my next cycle I did pair these with Advil and found that I could take less. Using the example I presented before, I usually have to take 2 Advil in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, and 2 at night on my first day, and Cyclease allowed me to just take 1 Advil at each part of the day. I am not giving up on the product and hope that I can find a routine that works for me, but as of now I can't just rely on this product. If you only have mild to moderate cramps, I would still suggest giving this product a try for sure as it does make a slight difference and if that's all you need, this will be perfect for you! ... show more

  • One ingredient is banned by the FDA
It caused continuous gas and farts! How can that be better than cramping? Further, Colocynth was banned by the US FDA in 1991. Taking even small amounts of colocynth can cause severe stomach irritation, leading to bloody diarrhea, kidney damage, and other serious side effects. I rather have my kidneys . ... show more
