  • Amazing! Most negative reviews seemed to be those who’ve been taking heavier medicine
I’ve had different types of menstrual cramps throughout my years (I’m 28) and I’ve never ever taken any kind of medicine with it, so keep it in mind this might have strongly influenced my experience. I sometimes had really bad cramps (once I even fainted at the airport) when I was going through emotional/damaging relationships etc, but over the past years I’ve been taking care of myself mindfully through yoga and good diet, so my cramps have been limited to just 1-2 hours of bad (yes, still bad - pain, nausea, etc.) cramps on my first day only. I decided to try natural medicine for the first time because those 1-2hrs of intense pain have been driving me crazy and can be annoying if it coincides with work, etc, so here I am. This worked like magic. Followed the instructions, and while I did feel a bit dizzy like I normally do, the symptoms were super gentle and did not plummet into the usual pain. I coupled it with a heating pad on my belly and rested in my bed on my first day - no pain whatsoever and very cozy. I took a fourth dose only because the dizziness came back for a tiny bit and I was worried it might worsen, but I don’t think next time it’ll be necessary. I read through all the negative reviews just to see if people are experiencing side effects, etc. (didn’t see such reports I don’t think); it seems that most of the ladies who said this “doesn’t work” have been using much stronger and less natural medicine. I’m no doctor, but based on some basic knowledge about herbalism and natural medicine, I think it’s fair to expect that your body will need time to adapt to and adjust to the effects of a homeopathic medicine if you’ve gotten used to the shock of stuff like Advil/ibuprofen or something even stronger. It may not mean that this doesn’t work or doesn’t work as well... it may just mean that your body needs some time to rewire and get used to another way of receiving help. For example, if you’re used to being knocked out by sedatives (essentially the effects of some of those stronger medicines) when you want to rest, it might take some time to adjust to the calming effects of a soothing balm/massage. I know others have had similar experiences with homeopathy and unfortunately during this time you may experience some transitioning difficulties, so please chat with a physician or herbalist about this. Otherwise, if you’ve not been using heavy medicine and would like to give natural stuff a try, I’d strongly recommend - I’ll never go anywhere without it now. Also just a gentle suggestion, please still do take care of your body emotionally and physically besides fighting the pain itself - paying attention to how I’m feeling and being aware of my body on a daily basis have helped tremendously with pain relief during my periods. Good luck! ... show more

  • Used To Work, But...
I have had horrible and intense menstrual cramps since age 12 or 13. I am 45 now. When I tried these for the 1st time a few years ago, they worked and I wrote a great review on this product. However, they stopped working on me a few months after that 1st pack. Yet, I still continued to try because NSAIDs agitate my sensitive stomach lining, which have ulcers. I always had to break down and go to the ibuprofen as these homeopathic pills and aspirin don't work at all. I have given up and go straight for the ibuprofen now. :( ... show more

  • Helps, but made me feel agitated.
First, I don't think that this product will knock out your cramps on its own. I started taking Cyclease after a terrible bout of gastritis prevented me from taking any NSAIDs. I tend to have terrible cramps - every month. Cyclease does take the edge off a bit, but only if I combine it with 400mg of Magnesium+1400mg of Chamomile pills (acts as an anti-inflammatory), a ton of water and tea to stay hydrated, and cut back on salt. Gastritis will take a while to heal, and I feel like this combination has kept my menstrual pains at "acceptable" levels (notice, I didn't say non-existent) while I heal. Second, this is a fairly expensive product. I went through one box in a 4-day cycle. That's not cool. Finally, I noticed that I felt agitated on it. On the third day of taking this, I felt "disconnected" like I had taken cold medicine with some sort of stimulant, and I noticed some heart palpitations. I noticed that some people reported feeling tired, but that was not me at all. I don't know what it is exactly. Now, full disclosure, I do know that I deal with levels of anxiety, so maybe this product affects people with anxiety? Anyway, I probably would still buy it again, mainly because it does actually work - provided that you take some steps that I believe would help any woman with menstrual cramps anyway: remove salt, take natural anti-inflammatories, keep your vitamin intake up, and stay hydrated. ... show more

  • Game changer for bad cramps
I'm only upset I didn't know about this product sooner. I have been trying to find an alternative to ibuprofen for years, but couldn't survive my first couple days without taking 4 ibuprofen every 4 hours, which ugh...so bad for you. I tried so many natural remedies...turmeric, ginger, hormone balancing tinctures, essential oils, cramp bark tincture. And CBD of course. Some of those helped a little, but not enough to forgo the NSAIDs. I have had debilitating menstrual cramps since I was a teenager...so over 20 years. Sometimes to the point of almost throwing up. I needed a heating pad in addition to the ibuprofen to get through it. Until I decided to try Cyclease Cramp 😍 The key is to take it as soon as you feel any bit of cramping coming on, and take it as the directions state on the box. I set a timer on my phone for 15 min and keep dosing every 15 until I get relief. It works shockingly fast, especially for something natural. You need to let them melt under your tongue, and yeah it's chalky but who cares. Once they're dissolved I take a drink of water to rinse it down. These WORK. I'm so happy I found something to help. ... show more
