In full disclosure, I knew that I was going to like this before I put it on. Most back braces are hot and eventually the Velcro becomes painful no matter how perfectly aligned it is when you first put it on. I was getting this for spring and summer outdoor work, like gardening etc. the mesh construction, and broad reenforced Velcro closure makes me hopeful. It's not as supportive as the bigger more rugged belts, but it's an intentional compromise... But the thing that put it over the top for me, was the completely recyclable, plastic free packaging. Great. And initial impressions of using it are just what I was looking for. 6'4" 270# with 51 inch belly circumference, and XXL is just big enough. ... show more

My waist is usually around 29". Got the medium and it fully closes like the videos. Comfortable. The massage pad is not comfortable when laying down. Medium measures 37" end to end

I have a 33 inch waist and good abdomen muscle tone, but certain home maintenance tasks cause a pain in my back. After reading all the good Bodyprox (especially from the free product Vine group) I bought a size medium after measuring because chart said 33 to 38 and several reviewers mentioned smallish size. Product arrived and I could not close the belt easily around my waist. Perhaps, a large or even extra large would allow me to do that. There was very little flex to the mesh to further support my lower back. The brace was like a lightweight tube that could not close properly. I quickly returned the product. ... show more

According to the size chart I should wear a medium but it was way too small. So I had to order a large. It fits pretty well and is not too bulky but it's still rides up like most other back braces I've tried.
