  • Great Rack for the Money
Color: Grey
I understand where some of the bad reviews are coming from, but here's what you can do: 1. Don't use the middle weight holder, ask yourself how many other racks of the same price have no weight holders. also. I use the bottom and top and leave the middle one open, and don't have any issues. It's not ideal but this rack is a 3x3 for under $500, show me the better option... Buy a weight plate tree and you're still ahead. 2. Upgrade the J Hooks to Yes4All - I wasn't happy to think upgrading the J hooks was necessary, at the same time they will allow me to use more of the rack. The J hooks are too long when inside the rack, and for larger people it will reduce the amount of room you have to squat. The Yes4All J Hooks are rated to 1000lbs between the pair, but I would keep it down to 500lbs in this rack personally. It really comes down to availability, but for the cost there isn't a better option really. HulkFit has a similar cage but I've heard of people lifting light weight and bending it, 240lbs on the safety bar i.e.... I've put 250lbs on the safety bar and wasn't light with it, and have yet to see any bending. If safety bars actually bend they are worthless, so that's why I went with this over the HulkFit and am happy. Beware the power racks almost never support their "max weight", they just add up how much the pull up bar can also hold and then call it "1000lbs max capacity!" From my research you're going to want an 11 gauge 3x3 steel rack for weights over 500lbs, but good luck finding one available right now. ... show more

  • Almost five stars
Color: Grey
Could've had just a little bit more stepping room on the inside and it would've been perfect.

  • Great value for money
Color: Grey
This rack was delivered sooner than expected, came damage free, and was easy to assemble. I was able to assemble this by myself but it’s important to note that you only hand tighten everything until the end where you can then tighten everything up. I have not secured it to the floor but put my 350 lbs of plates on it and it’s very sturdy and does well for my cables. If you are a big lifter I could see getting a full rack but this would work for 99% of the population. I would recommend some grip tape for the pull up bars as they are slightly slippery. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone. ... show more

  • Nice Rack!!!
Color: Grey
I bought this in 2019 I’ve moved it a couple times, had to disassemble and reassemble it. Super easy after you know what you’re doing. Works and have had no problems with it. Great rack.

  • Decent half rack set up
Color: Grey
This was shipped and delivered within a week, which I was very impressed with. The quality is pretty decent and I was able to assemble it by myself in just a little over an hour. I have been using it for about two weeks now, and while the quality is good, I do have some issues with the rack. The J hooks are too long and too tall, which makes it difficult to rack weights in between sets. The safety bars really only protect you inside the cage, but if you use the cage to hang your plates, you have no room to actually exercise inside the cage and use the safety bars. Overall, I am able to do most of the exercises that I want, but will have to spend money to modify the rack as to how I actually want it. I would also note that one of the plate rods they sent me was not properly threaded. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement and milk cost in just a few days. ... show more

  • Some issues, but still great!
Color: Grey
Very well built and high quality. Can't really understand the lesser reviews. It's certainly heavy duty and strong at every section. The dip bars and pullup bars are also heavy duty and high quality and an added bonus to the rack. It took about 2.5 hours for me to put together by myself from the point I started opening the boxes, although I'd recommend the help of a second person as it wasn't that easy and could have been dangerous to do by myself if I dropped anything. All parts were in the 2 boxes and I'm absolutely happy with this rack. Be prepared for the large size and measure the room you're going to put it in, counting also the weights in the back having some distance from the wall. Edit about 2 weeks later:I'm reducing my review from 5 star to 4 star. If it's not bolted to the floor it will lean backward threatening to tip over when you place the weights back on it. The weight lifts rubber tops wore off in less than 1 week, so there's no padding for the bar. The rubber is brittle and falls apart..The worst thing, however, is the middle weight holder blocks completely the section to adding the bar and working out from that middle area. I had to completely remove the center bars to prevent this problem. It's still a well built rack for the price, but not without issues.. ... show more

  • You will.replace it if stick with your plan
Color: White, Black, Red
Well built and a decent value, the oddball tube sizes make expansion nearly impossible. The 20" rack depth is a little small but workable. The boxed attachments are stubby and may have a larger negative effect for people trying to lift near their max. Space effectiveness is good so don't completely count this out. ... show more

  • Has issues but will serve its purpose
Color: Grey
The space between the standing bars is two tight. There is enough room for you to squat but if you have plates up on the sides you will hit the plates which is a safety concern. So either you don’t rack your plates on the tower or you squat in the front where you have no safety bars or you don’t rack your weights on it. Which defeats the purpose of having a squat rack to help me safely squat heavy and a squat rack that o can rack my weights on. The two main things i wanted are totally compromised with this product. I also thought about drilling new holes to create the space myself but i can’t do that because the too support beams will be too short to connect the standing bars. Hope that makes sense but i am attaching photos so you see what i mean. The only reasons i don’t return is because i already put it together and didn’t discover these issues until that happened and so the boxes have been destroyed. Two, i have been body building for years so the machine will serve it’s purpose for now, but later i will replace it with something better. But i do regret paying $396 for something that creates more safety concerns. I wanted to use this to teach my son how to squat and do back workouts as well, and i will, but i have to take off all the weights each time In order to keep him safe in the center. ... show more
