We have a dedicated beverage center that holds wine on one side and other stuff on the other side, but it actually doesn't hold everything that we like to keep cold. After our second full-size fridge died we vowed we would only replace it with a beverage fridge because it's pretty much all we were using the other one for anyway. Our household is pretty big and everyone has their different favorite beverage to keep cool. This holds a LOT of cans, and some bottles too. We have ours configured to hold three shelves of cans, and then the top rack to hold bottles on their side- pretty much exactly like the product photo shows. Our bottles on the top are plastic soda bottles and they fit perfectly. We filled this thing completely full, turned it on, and left it shut. While the sticker that is on the fridge says to allow 48 hours for it to cool down, our beverages were pretty icy in about half that time. Operation is very, very quiet and it hasn't heated up the room around it noticeably at all. The blue light is a little different, but it's not like we need a lot of light to reach in and grab our can or bottle. All in all this is a great option for a beverage fridge. It also looks really nice, too, so if you wanted to feature it in your kitchen it would be great (ours is in a separate room, as our double beverage center is in the kitchen.) ... show more

    • Small Cooler That Works Well With Lots of Can Capacity

I ordered this 120 can cooler from BODEGACOOLER to replace our old, small, dorm style refrigerator that we use to keep our grandchildren’s drinks and juices in. It is solidly built and is noticeably smaller than the old dorm fridge and fits nicely under our kitchen island’s countertop--nice. It’s less than 30 inches tall and about 17 ½ inches deep and wide. It has a clear front door with the LED unit controls integrated on the outside front of the unit. Controls are simple in that they are for turning on and off the interior light, changing the temperature up and down, locking/unlocking the controls from grubby little fingers like our grandchildren’s, and changing the display from Fahrenheit (F) to Celsius (C). All controls are very intuitive with perhaps the exception of the lock and that’s fully explained in the accompanying user’s guide for this unit. Set up was straight forward and easy, and required no tools other than a boxcutter or pair of scissors to deal with the packing. The hardest part of the setup was the unboxing of the unit which would have been much easier with another set of hands to help, but still wasn’t bad. The user’s guide says to let the unit set 12 hours before plugging the unit in to better avoid refrigerant malfunctions. I took this opportunity to check for level which it was and to wide down the insides with warm water and a soft dish cloth. I powered up the cooler the following morning and set the temperature for the coldest temperature it could achieve, 38F. I placed a small digital thermometer on the middle shelf and waited for the unit to cool, which wasn’t until the following morning. I loaded 12 or so warm drink cans and a couple of bottles of water into the cooler and the temperature went up slightly but eventually cooled back to 38F after a bit. It has been maintaining 38F since then without issue. Despite its diminutive size, it holds up to 120 regularly sized (12 ounces) canned drinks. While I don’t expect that we’ll load up this cooler to the absolute limit, having the capacity to do so is nice in a unit with such a small footprint as this. This crazy capacity for such a small unit is a trick of stacking (which is explicitly detailed in the instruction manual) rather than just placing each can in single-high on the unit’s bottom and 3 shelves. There are a couple of possible negatives I’ve noted so far with this can cooler. It’s somewhat noisy and actually makes more noise than our full sized KITCHENAID refrigerator when running. Some of the noise was reduced by putting cans on the empty shelves which rumbled some when empty. The remainder noise is still there but manageable unless you require total silence. I would also caution anyone with a bad back or knees that this unit sets low, especially the bottom shelf which requires me to get down on my knee to place or retrieve anything that isn’t right up front. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this beverage cooler from BODEGACOOLER. It is small with a relatively large capacity, works as it should, and is easily operated. Clean and simple. At first there was a vibration noise heard, but it was the racks being empty except for two test water bottles. The unit is pretty quite. The heat transfer is through the top and sides of this unit, so ensure there is space for air to travel around these areas.

Super quiet refrigerator. Stores lots of drinks. Removable shelves. However, the interior light is blue and only lights up when you first touch the unlock button and then the light button. Same goes to change the temp, need to first touch unlock to change any settings. I have it set to the lowest temp 38 and does get my drinks cold. ... show more
