Mine also came with the center velcro tab backwards and it was a pain to install, but I realized afterward that if you peel the velcro forehead pad pack, the center strip can be flipped or repositioned, as it is not permanently fixed to the headset (just FYI). I got this rig with one extra battery and a charging station. My objective here is not just gaming but utilizing the unit for a full day of remote work. If I were gaming, I could rotate out batteries indefinitely while maintaining a full charge in the headset itself. I'm used to having the faceplate pressing tight against my face; having it 'not' pressing against my face is nice—but I'm getting used to it. No more mask' impressions' after use.
