I currently work in the private impound industry where I tow illegally parked vehicles from private property. At times this field of work can be rather volatile. So I purchased this body worn camera for not only my protection, but for the company as well as the public. I have had this camera for a couple of months now and it works flawlessly. It’s been knocked off of my chest mount a couple of times and is rugged enough that it sustained no damage. The camera works as designed and is easy to operate. I use it every single shift. The HD video quality is great. It automatically records in smaller clips so that retrieval of the video is easier and faster when needed. The only downside is they it has no micro SD card provision for expanding the storage so that the user can go longer between data extraction times. The battery lasts for my entire shift which is around ten hours nightly. This is definitely a great buy. Especially at the price point. I really like this camera. It has many functions. The only thing I’m having a little bit of a problem with is downloading the videos to my laptop. I just have to figure it out, but the camera is very good quality. It has a long run time and I bought a camera chest mount to go over my shoulders and around my chest on Amazon that was about $30 and I’m very happy with a set up. I have to go back and find the little instruction pamphlet that came with because I want to save many of these videos to a file in my laptop, but I’m very happy with this and I feel the price with a fair price ... show more

Takes good video in the light or in the dark. Surprisingly clear images when I use it in IR mode when walking at night. Simple to set up and use if you have ever owned a pocket point-and-shoot camera. Attaching it to your street clothes is cumbersome with the included accessories. I ordered an adjustable neck-lanyard and the included small clip to use this camera. Very nice when used as a dash-cam. A real bonus. I am a private officer. The primary purpose for me purchasing the M5 was for a dash cam and not for a body cam. This is the third day I've had the M5 cam in dash mode. So far so good. FYI you do have to hook it up USB to a laptop or as I have a Samsung Chromebook to watch the video and there's a lot of clarity. What I have noticed is when you hook up the USB to the charging port on the M5. You have to start recording again. And when you hook the USB up to the M5 the blue light will come on and it takes it out of stealth mode. Of course the blue light indicates it is charging. When you disconnect the USB charging cable from the M5. You have to start up recording again. ... show more

This review is about my warranty experience with Boblov. I give them an A+ For fast response time to my emails, keeping me constantly informed as to the status of my repair, and there dedication for following through with what I was told . My M5 camera had focusing problems within days of the warranty being up. I contacted Boblov and was assured it would be repaired and returned to me in proper working condition. Sent it off overseas via USPS and it was put on hold at customs but Boblov took care of it. The support person always returned my emails quickly and kept me informed. I received back my camera as promised and working properly. Originally I had my doubts because of the time involved & potential issues with overseas shipping (problems which are out of our control), but in the end they did as promised and I’m glad I made the effort. The camera itself is a nice camera especially for the price. Presently I use it for a dash cam set up on loop and is always on.
