I ordered this bed in a King size and paid $449 + tax. Before purchasing, I shopped for a new bed for at least a full month - one that would be the base of my new master bedroom redecorate project. I was going for a Boho meets Scandinavian Mid Century Modern vibe. This bed met my needs and wants perfectly. I received the bed within 3-4 days of purchase. It came in a single, very long box that I had to help the UPS delivery driver bring up the stairs! It took my daughter about 2 hours to get it out of the box & fully assembled - all by herself. She said that the assembly was simple and straightforward.The bed is exceptionally sturdy. It's just the right amount of heavy... AND it's BEAUTIFUL!!! We are absolutely thrilled with our new bed frame and headboard! Made from real wood, it exudes durability and quality. The design is well thought out, down to the slats which are secured with Velcro to keep them firmly in place—a brilliant touch! Assembly was a breeze. The instructions estimated 45 minutes, but we had it put together in just 30. The clear and concise instructions made the process straightforward and even enjoyable. We're so impressed that we're planning to buy two more for our kids' rooms. The frame itself is fine, but this is not at all dark rustic brown. It has puke yellowish tint to it. Would return if it wasn’t so cumbersome to return.

    • Still good after almost a year.
I ordered a very expensive bed from a furniture store and it broke 5 times. My husband repaired it with a 2x4 and that broke as well BUT that bed broke bc the slats on the bottom connected in 3 little slats that were held on by tiny screws. This bed however has a lot of support! This bed has a metal bar with 3 little metal legs (maybe aluminum) that runs down the center of the bed and then it has a lot of wooden slats similar to the ikea bed slats BUT they Velcro on the sides to prevent them from sliding around. The headboard to this bed is about 2 ft shorter than our old bed BUT the quality itself is much nicer. My old expensive bed broke when my kids ran and jumped on it and even when I was rocking my baby on the edge of the bed one night, I am not over weight and was not rocking hard at all yet my old bed broke. So far this new bed has held up to rocking, kids jumping and extra curricular activities. This bed will not allow for box springs, so take that into account before buying. So far it doesn’t squeak and if it ever does I’ll update this post. It’s sturdy, doesn’t look cheap and it’s doing it’s job in which my old very expensive bed did not do. 10/10 for now. Again will update if anything goes wrong. Two thumbs up for the price. UPDATE: Almost a year later and this bed is still going strong. On occasion it will squeak but you can tighten the bolts back up and it stops squeaking, I’ve done this maybe 4 times in a year. This bed has not broken and is still holding up very well!     • Sturdy and easy to put together
We needed to replace our king size bedframe because it was too high from the ground. This bed frame helped lower the overall height of our bed due to not needing the box springs anymore but we still have ample space underneath. You could use for storage underneath although we don't. It's also easy to assemble and looks nice. It's a little on the yellow side in appearance. But it still matches our lighter blonde wood bedroom decor fairly well. Definitely less noisy than our last frame! ... show more

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but had to hop on here to write one for this bed. I went back and forth on choices and read all the reviews and so glad I purchased this one. It’s beautiful and sturdy. I really love how well made it is for an Amazon purchase. The slates are nice also. They Velcro down so it stays in plays and there’s some padding for them also so it’s quiet and supportive. Just really impressed with this. We upgraded to a king and I was worried about getting something sturdy and cute. All pieces were included with some backup pieces. It was not difficult at all to put together. I’m a 39 year old women and I could do this by myself without extra tools and it didn’t take too long. The box was very, very heavy so I chose the option for delivery to put it in the room of my choice. I definitely recommend this. Once you open the packaging, the pieces are not as heavy to move around and put together but so hard to move full box and I think it weighed around 130lbs. I also like the storage space below. There is enough room to slide some shorter storage boxes. I ordered the brown one and just a heads up that it is a little bit lighter than the pictures but still very nice. Based on other reviews I think it will vary, some of them were a bit darker looking than mine. It doesn’t match very well with some of my other items but it’s good to know it’s wood and you can stain it if it’s an issue. I wish the little matching drawers they sold to match were not as pricey because might be hard to match it to your other pieces. Also be cautious about opening the slats. I used scissors to remove all the wrappping and they come in two different sets and are all connected so I accidentally cut one. It still fit well and was not a problem, but it was the only issue I had. I highly recommend if you want some stable, real wood, and well made that is not as pricey as the other beds.
