  • Works well
The AC200L appears well designed and built and it works beautifully. The display shows all key info such as rates of charge or discharge and is simple to read at a glance. The generator comes with an assortment of power cords to handle most common uses. The PV200D solar panel has a very practical folding design that is easy to deploy and connect to the generator. I plugged in the solar panel in the late afternoon sun and it immediate began to charge at about 130 watts. Very simple! For me this is a back-up power supply in case of hurricane power outage, so I don't plan to use it often (hopefully never!), but I'm happy to have it. ... show more

  • This thing is a power beast, but big
Does everything I wanted it to, and more. Can run my Travel Trailer A/C with a soft starter installed, as the compressor cycles on and off it can honestly go for a few hours even in high heat with a 13500 BTU unit. It has 30 amp power so I can plug directly into my RV as well, plus plenty of outgoing juice for day to day items. Roughly the same size as my 2250i gas generator, but quite a bit heavier due to the battery. Nice that it has add-on batteries. They're expensive, but I like the option and will likely do one next summer. Handled everything I threw at it for this camping year. The only knock I have, if any, is that it is heavy. It's a huge battery, so a bit expected, but like you have to plan for it. I wouldn't want to take this tent camping, car camping/glamping sure. Small travel trailer is really where this thing shines though. Does have handles that make it easy to move around. One other small knock is that with even a basic case that has a little lip around the camera area of my iPhone it wont charge on the wireless charger on the top. Other devices work though. The app is fine and serves it's purpose. The screen itself is good enough, viewing angle could be better and it could be faster to show up the first time, but these are all minor things on an otherwise well designed and well utilized product. I'd recommend it highly. ... show more

  • Love my Bluetti......
I'm into my Bluetti battery backup system to the tune of 20kw. I have 2 of their AC200MAX's and they work well. Along with 2 AC200P's and 5 B230 batteries, I can run all my refrigeration for free. The 200MAX has been working 24/7, 365. for over a year now. It can run while continuously charging from solar, an ac plug or while charging from one of the B230 batteries. It can accept 900 watts of solar using the aviation connection, while accepting another 500 of solar using the D050S charging enhancer or from the provided AC power brick. That's 1400 watts that will charge your 200MAX very fast. It can also handle my surge wattage of over 2500 watts with ease, as it's rated for 4800 surge watts for about a minute. They actually have CS who pick up the phone and can help with technical support or customer questions/concerns. Something they did not have originally. I found after much research, Bluetti offers the best price per watt of any of the solar generator systems I investigated, and there were 4 or 5 that I weighed their benefits for my particular application. If you need portable power that you can bring anywhere, this 200MAX won't let you down. ... show more

  • Reliably Keeps Me On-line
This is an excellent unit, easy to set up and run. I work from home, and with a full charge, this unit can keep me up and running for a full work day, without the need to fire up the generator. The materials and construction are both excellent. It looks great. It's solid. The only reason that I'm not giving it a 5 rating is that the AC charger unit is too loud when it runs. My objective was to leave it permanently plugged in with the critical systems hooked up to it. That will work electrically, but I live in a small house in a rural area, and the AC charger is too loud for me to sleep with it on. That would be the one upgrade I'd suggest to the manufacture. Also, I'd expect the AC charger to turn off when the unit is fully charged. It doesn't. For many people, this issue won't matter. It holds a charge for an incredibly long time. If I charge it and leave it off for a week and then turn it on, it usually has 99-100% of the charge remaining. That's pretty impressive. The fact that it's expandable is a big plus. I haven't done that yet, but if I ever need to, it will be as simple as buying an expansion battery and plugging it in. This is a good unit, great value for the money. TCS ... show more

  • Works good.
I bought this to use with my Travel trailer on trips- handy when a campsite won't allow regular generators. I've connected some solar panels to it (200 watts). Will take a while to charge it, you really need at least 400w panel setup to charge this unit in a decent amount of time. Can't handle starting the AC on my Travel Trailer (13500BTU) however, maybe if I had a soft start installed on the AC it should be able to run the AC. ... show more
