OK, so I purchased this in June 2021 and have used it for beach, pool, outdoor activities and even for my small lake dinghy (where it has gotten drenched in rain) and this thing just keeps on going. Now I only used it for bluetooth connectivity, but today (2 years later) I just discovered this thing is an FM radio!!!! You need to tap the power up button twice after turning on so it changes mode. It’s honestly a nice speaker. The sound quality is acceptable to my ears, but I’m sure it may not be to others when compared to other speakers out there. A little problem I have with it is that when you don’t play music on it but leave the speaker on, there’s a quiet beeping sound that comes out that gets a little irritating after a while. However, I guess that’s a reminder to just turn it off after use. Meanwhile, the battery life is wonky. It’s sometimes long but other times it’s rather short and I’m assuming it’s due to the volume you put it at. Otherwise, the speaker is not all that bad and very budget friendly. ... show more

As others have said, it's lightweight and feels/looks like a soda can. It has a decent sound, although you don't hear the deep base that you would with a true stereo, but the sound is certainly much better than a clock radio. I do find when I sit the item on carpet or the ground outside, I tend to hear the base more. It's very convenient for travel and would easily fit in a tote bag, luggage, etc. One thing that I must state is that the batery certainly doesn't last 25 hours, it's more like around 5-6; nevertheless I enjoy moving it between different rooms around the house and outside to listen to music, one of my favorite things to do--so it is a must that the device sound good overall, which it does. Overall happy with product. Not as powerful as the more expensive speakers on the market and the battery doesn't last as long but excellent value for the price paid. Light, portable, easy to use. Had an issue with the volume being low connecting to iPhone, but this was due to a default setting in IOS. The iPhone by default identified the MusiBaby as a headset so with the headphone safety settings on, it limited the maximum volume at which it played. To fix this go to Settings, Bluetooth, (hit the icon Musi- Baby M68, Device Type and then select it as a speaker. You can also turn this feature off by going to Settings, Sounds and Haptic, Headphone Safety, Reduce Loud Sounds and turn off. ... show more

I haven’t tested it’s water resistance, but it does connect to the radio. And it’s smaller than what I thought, but is plenty loud enough for a room. We got it to use on our boat.

I really like this little speaker. I made a playlist to take to the pool on a USB thumb drive. I copied all of the music from my computer to the USB Drive. When I put it in the speaker, it said "Music" as expected, then switched to "Radio" and a bunch of very loud static. I tried everything I could think of with no effect.... I finally did figure it out: the speaker only recognizes MP3 formatted files, not MP4. It took a while to figure out how to convert my selected files to MP3 but that fixed the problem. The sound is fine for general use, better than the speaker on my computer! I haven't checked bluetooth connectivity yet. I was hoping not to have my iphone poolside, so the USB works fine. I charged the speaker from my computer using the USB cable and it took awhile but the charge seems to last for at least 7 hours. The only thing I really don't like is that the speaker voice is loud enough to deafen you when you turn it on. Has anyone figured out how the radio setting works? Is it scanning AM or FM? The instructions could be more informative, that's for sure. ... show more
