Description

Warm Tips: Don't aim your telescope at the sun,or anywhere near the sun ! Instant and irreversible damage can occur, including blindness !Don't let children use any telescope without adult supervision at any time.Avoid sudden temperature fluctuations as the moisture in the air will condense on the objective lens. Should this happen, then place the objective lens not too close to a source of heat and allow the moisture to evaporate slowly.Don't try and use it by aiming through a window indoor. If the window is closed, the window glass will produce reflections and distortions. If the window is open, the moving air currents of different temperatures will cause distortions. When mounting the parts ensure that the securing screws are not tightened too tightly. Tightening too tightly could result in damage the parts or the internal thread of the holders. Explore the mysteries of the starry sky Full multi-coated lenses provide excellent contrast and viewing image brightness, thereby protecting your eyes. • Amazing for beginners
Thank you. I love seeing the moon so vividly

  • Not a lot of assembling
Quality material, is a plus.

  • Decent beginner telescope
This telescope was very quality for the price. The downside is that it comes with NO instructions. We had a hard time figuring out why we couldn’t see through the eye pieces. Thankfully my nephew figured out that you need to line up the eye piece with the red dot. Once we did that we could use it. It has a solid tripod with sturdy parts. The included 25mm and 17.5mm eye piece were crystal clear while the 9mm eye piece was much blurrier but still did the job. You could get a good image of the moon while planets like Saturn and Jupiter were less impressive. Overall it is a decent beginner/intermediate telescope. Hope you find this review and pictures helpful! ... show more

  • Great for beginners!
This is my first telescope. It was very easy to assemble and came with a vinyl tote bag and some extra parts. The bottom is all aluminum and very lightweight. Easy to pick up and move around. The telescope pivots and moves around easily too. There is a long handle to move it so you can have a light touch. There are 3 lenses that let you dial in the clearness of the object you wish to see. We’ve had fun in the day time looking at birds and have enjoyed the full moon in the night sky. This is not a $1,000 unit. The moon still looks very far away, wavy and fuzzy. Unless you are ready to invest in a top quality tool, this is about as good as you’d expect. And honestly wonderful for children and they learn how to use it and gain confidence. It collapses down small and tidy and portable too. ... show more

  • Works Great For The Price
Once you realize how much you are getting for the price with this telescope; I'd say you're getting an okay deal. We previously purchased an inexpensive telescope that was 1/3 the price of this one, and that experience was simply awful. It shook considerably and the tripod was so lightweight that it seemed like it'd blow over. There comes a price point at which you need to meet in order to have an enjoyable time with your telescope, and I think we have achieved close to the minimum with this one. It is a budget entry level certainly, but with that, we are still able to see Mars quite well; it just looks like a large circle. Looking at the moon is wonderful and you can see some good detail, especially for a 6yr old. This scope has a decent tripod, though fine tuning the scope to your viewing location can be a little difficult. I would aim it up a bit knowing that it was going to drop a little bit when I took my hands off of it. It's a little bit like shooting with kentucky windage. What I do enjoy is having all 3 eyepieces fixed on the scope. The scope does maintain the sight picture when you rotate them, so that's great. Personally I'd rather have a straight viewfinder vs the angled one they have, but it works okay. The main telescope image is right-side-up vs the inverted images found on some scopes, so that's quite nice especially if you are going to use for terrestrial viewing. The whole thing packs down small and into the bag, so I really can't be more pleased. I do want to upgrade to a larger scope, but for now this one will do. The camera attachment will not stay attached to the scope unaided once you add your camera to it since it makes it too heavy, but you can hold it and get a decent picture. My overall opinion is if you have limited funds, then you'll probably be okay with this scope, though if you are able to increase your purchase price, you'd be much happier with the Celestron Inspire 100AZ Telescope. Note, this price on this scope has gone up by a lot, so the price tends to be all over the map depending on where you find it. Big box stores have also had this in the past, so keep an eye out. • Beginner
My son wanted one and this looked like a good starter kit for him. We have a ton of stars that we can look at during the night. It took us a while to figure it out. I love that I don’t have to switch out eye pieces. There’s a rotating dock that all you have to do is turn and select which eyepiece you want to use. It also comes with an attachment that you can put your phone in so you can take photos. I think this is great for someone that wants to star gaze. ... show more

  • An entry-level telescope that needs more adequate instructions.
Reviewing this 2021 Newest Telescope is a bit of an ambiguous exercise. I have mixed feelings about the product. The price point makes it accessible, so there's that. Yet the quality of the components leaves something to be desired. This is most definitely an entry-level item for an owner who wants to try out telescope ownership before investing serious clams in the effort. My primary complaint is with the instructions. I simply need more orientation than they provide in order to derive any satisfaction from this star-gazing instrument. ... show more

  • Lots Of Fun
This is perfect, easy to set up and you can look at stars and the moon pretty good with it too. Works better than a camera for taking close up shots of the moon's craters and things. If you live out in the country you can also get a close up view of the milky way and might even see satellites from time to time. It is easy to rig up a cell phone to this to take pictures also. ... show more
