I am impressed with the sound quality so I decided to purchase a second one and pair them together to get a true stereo sound. The sound quality for my ears is outstanding. The speakers are bluetooth so you can connect them to your phone or for me my iPod. They are great for taking them with you when you are out at a barbeque, camping or fishing. I use this for a class of people learning English as a second language, because the course book is associated with a free app that makes audio available online for listening and speaking practice. The speaker can be controlled from my phone screen via Bluetooth. The connection was easy to set up. The speaker's volume & clarity are plenty for the room. (Some class members are nearly 20 feet away from the speaker because the room is long & narrow.) There is a button on top of the speaker that you can press several times to shut off the flashing lights that are built into the speaker. That is very helpful, for my purpose of teaching a language to a group of adult learners. I cannot speak to durability yet, because I've only used it for 2 hours. It charges with a USB-C cord. I don't know yet whether the battery can be replaced, but I don't see an open-able lid so I suspect the end of the battery's ability to hold a charge will be the end of the product's life.
