I owned and used the very expensive Bose Hearphones (no longer in production). They had a lot of bells and whistles: a phone app to control them, very good noise canceling properties, various features allowing the user to change the focus of the hearing cone from wide to narrow, the ability to boost highs or lows, and to set the balance. They were a quality product that was well designed and executed. They eventually broke. So my wife insisted I buy something to replace them since she likes to communicate and I like to understand her. I was wary of these since there were only two reviews at the time—both 5 stars. I am delighted with these. I first used them in a crowded, noisy restaurant and set them on the lowest volume. I quickly forgot I had them in, and missed none of the table conversation. Is the fidelity as good as Bose? Of course not, but the sound was clear and sharp. The Bluetooth/phone connection works well and all in all it is easy to operate with a simple button to push. Now there are three 5 star ratings. Two days later: it took me the better part of 3 days to figure out why the ear pieces would not charge despite the fact that I had plugged them in twice for a full night. The secret is there are two tiny circular plastic tape covers over the charging terminals on the headphones themselves. These have to be removed before charging. This fact may be in the accompanying documentation, but I never saw it. Otherwise everything is still 5 stars. ... show more

    • Don’t buy this unless the price dropped to 99 cents.
The amplification is so little, the charge case is so light that I suspect that there is any battery inside. The case battery was drain in one day without even using the hearing aid. The hearing aids had no magnetic so the case cover was used to force the earbuds so It can be charged.
