Initial Review: Initially, I loved this swing. It is light-weight, easy to assemble, and easy to use. However, I've now had it almost exactly two months, and have used it lightly for about 1.5 months, and it has stopped working. After taking it apart, moving it to a different room, then reassembling it, it no longer works. I push power, then the button to start the swing, and it turns back off. Also, there doesn't seem to be a difference in the swing speed. My baby loves it, but I'm not sure it's worth it if it doesn't last. Added: Soon after our first swing stopped working, I contacted the manufacturer to take advantage of their warranty. The customer service was fantastic, and they quickly and easily shipped me a new swing free of charge, and I had it within days. The second swing has worked well with no issues, and while I still don't see a difference in the swing speed, my baby loves it, and we use it all the time. We kept the first, broken swing, to use as a seat when we needed to put her down for just a few minutes in a safe spot, knowing that seat didn't have any power to it. She's about to reach the weight limit at 7 months old, so I'm sad we won't be able to use it anymore, but I'm a fan of this thing, and the customer service. ... show more

This was my favorite during newborn. During the day I put my son in here as I would get things done or simply just sitting beside him in the living room. Was not too big at all, it was sturdy & great quality. You can easily break down if you needed to take it somewhere.

As first-time parents, we hadn't realized how important having a good swing is! We love the baby Munchkin swing, but more importantly, our 3-month-old son loves it too! The swing is light and really easy to assemble, it took less than a minute to put it together. It has a sleek and modern design that fits nicely in the living room. The swaying motion is smooth and mimics how we swing our baby, with a nice gentle rhythm. What we love the most is the sitting angle and cushion which gives ideal support- our baby can sit comfortably without sinking into an awkward position and is able to move his head from side to side. It also has a mesh back which keeps him from getting sweaty and overheated. The swing comes with a variety of relaxing sounds and music and a big plus is you can connect your phone with Bluetooth and control volume and speed with remote control. It's a truly nice baby swing with great features such as the bluetooth enabled option, different varieties of swinging options, songs available, duration times, and a remote. Unfortunately it doesn't rock very well for the price we paid, it sits pretty low to the ground for our son who is only 15 pounds and he will max out on the weight soon. It's very durable and that's nice but it's a little bulky to try to travel with it even with only 2 kids and a 3rd row vehicle. My baby loves the Munchkin Swaying Seat. I originally purchased it for a weekend away because it would travel easily & break down into two parts. It worked perfectly and was easy to pack & carry into the hotel. After the weekend away I had planned on it staying in my bedroom as a seat that I could place the baby in when I was in the room working on something. But it has actually turned into our main baby swing. I have 3 other types and this ended up being the favorite over the swing, the bouncer, and the rocker. I only wish that they could use it longer than 20 lbs. or when they roll over. Well worth the extra cost, easy to clean, breaks down into two parts, 5 sway settings, good selection of noises and comes with a remote. The only thing I don’t like is that the Bluetooth volume isn’t able to get any louder, because any music or sound comes out too quiet to be worth while, in my opinion. ... show more

This was definitely on the end of higher prices for a swing but I was confident that it would be worth it. What a joke, the build quality seems the same as the 90$ one i sent back a week before. There are 5 speeds which all seem like the same speed, the noises were nothing special and sounded muffled. To top it off it only works plugged in and the wire is no more then 3ft long so you have no option to move it from the outlet. The padding wasn't anything better or worse then the cheaper brand and same with the comfort it seemed. It moves easy enough but I never went far when she was using it because I always had the feeling it was going to topple backward with the rocking noises heard on each leg. Don't waste your money all you're paying for is a Bluetooth connection to your phone so you can choose music and it's on a terrible speaker and honestly never gets used. ... show more
