I've had for a little over a week and so far I love it. Fast operations, extremely bright and colorful display, takes amazing pictures and video, sound quality is very good. The only doen side I've had so far is it does not include wifi calling, but I've struggled with spotty service at my house through T-Mobile. With this phone I've never lost a call and always have 3 bars so the wifi calling has not been a problem. Even my daughter's iphone only gets 1 bar so for this phone to bounce between 3 or 4 is impressive. The phone case it comes with is pain black but since this a newer phone I can't find any sold elsewhere so that was great to include in the box. Turbo charging through type c is incredibly quick and I haven't used the wireless Charging yet. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase especially because I was about to buy a $700 phone that was half the benefits of this phone through an upgrade. Will update after I've had the phone for an extended time and definitely will update immediately with any problems! ... show more

Man, I wish I could keep this phone. I was not expecting it to feel this nice, although it's plastic it's not plasticky, and it has a really good camera. As far as the camera goes, I only have a Pixel 4a to compare it to, and although the Pixel does much better keeping details in extreme dark/bright lighting situations, you can still get great shots with the G91 Max during the daytime and colors are very nice. The worst part about the camera is that indoor shots lose a lot of detail if there's not a lot of windows or light. The screen is HUGE and it's also very clear and has great resolution, absolutely no problems there. I thought maybe I would have issues going down from an OLED to an LCD but I really don't, there's a few obvious differences but it's not really a problem, just different. The speaker isn't as good as the Pixel, there's only one and it gets completely covered up when gaming, but it isn't a bad speaker either, and it sounds good enough for music in my opinion. Wireless charging is awesome and it's more than fast enough for me. Didn't like the case but it does seem like it would protect the phone well enough. And, the phone is powerful enough for gaming. Maybe not at highest settings but it runs smooth and doesn't strike me as a sluggish phone. Biggest problem is that it doesn't work with AT&T, and out here that's all we've got, so unfortunately it's going back and I will say I regret that it's leaving, but hey, if you're somewhere you can get service with this thing, I'd say go for it. Oh and it came with a sticker. Love stickers <3 ... show more

    • Lot of cut corners, but still excellent value

The price and the fundamentals for this phone are excellent. 8GB ram, 5000 mah battery, and a solid cpu for this price point? Incredible. That being said, there's a lot of cons: -No 5G, and the 4G bands are somewhat limited. Still usable, but I sometimes see data drop to 5 Mbps in urban areas. Check your carriers bands with this phones' for solid overlap. - No NFC. If you pay with your ohone, or tap on/off any transit systems, you're out of luck. It can't be expensive to add NFC so I don't understand why they excluded it. - The screen is off. Specifically, it's much bluer than other screens, and doesn't get very dim. Large bands at the top and bottom of the phone aren't covered by blue light or screen dimming software either so it's hard to get around. It makes the phone uncomfortable to use at night. - The software is unpolished. For example, there's only 7 sound increments, including muted and full volume. It makes it incredibly hard to get the right volume. Use it with audio that have separate volume controls if you can. There's other android settings that I had on other phones but not this one, such as controls over icon size and layout. I sometimes see lag on various screens that, while not significant, is concerning for a new phone - there's only one case on the market for this (the included one) and it's not very good, it's thick and heavy and the sides are needlessly jagged. It'd be nice to have more options. - the fingerprint sensor placement. I saw some say it's hard to unlock,my issue is the opposite. Because it's on the side it's easy to accidentally unlock the phone in your pocket. Even brushing it causes the screen to turn on if you're rummaging for something else nearby. All said though, it's hard to complain given the price and how well it delivers on its flagship-level specs. But some of the above could be a deal breaker for you depending on your usage. ... show more
