After much searching, I found these, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets from Mayfair Linens. I am thrilled so far. The medium blue is a beautiful cross between denim and navy. They are soft while still being crisp. To me, that is the hallmark of Egyptian cotton. With percision stitching (no gaps or snags) around all sides of the flat sheet and a generous fitted sheet, you can see right away how well made they are. I bought the king size and they fit my bed perfectly with a little room to spare if they do shrink. I've already washed and dried these and while they did slightly wrinkle, they were easy to smooth out. Not a deal breaker for me. I find the sheets are the perfect weight, neither to thin or thick. I am super fussy about sheets and am so happy to have found these. Price is definitely reasonable for the excellent quality. If I had one wish, I would wish that sheet makers allow buyers to choose between king and standard pillow cases. I make the king cases work with my standard pillows by tucking the ends in, like an envelope. It works for me. I'm a customer for life. Thank you Mayfair! ... show more

I like the weight and softness of the sheets. Love that they are 100% cotton and are not hot. I took off one star because the top sheet and fitted sheet are a slightly different gray. Fitted sheet has a deep pocket and stays put. They wash nicely and seem to get softer after every wash. Out of the dryer they are wrinkled but if you put them right away, they look better. Having read all the reviews before my purchase, it was very clear that everyone has vastly different opinions on what makes sheets good quality. My experience with the purchase of this queen sheet set has been a good one. The customer service was great, the price of the sheets was right, and although I am certainly not an expert on thread count, I am actually quite happy with the quality of the sheets. The sheets are indeed on the thinner side but they are still made very well and I prefer thinner sheets (especially in the summertime) because I sleep better when I'm cool and comfortable. When it comes to sheets, one of the most important things to me (other than comfort) is that they fit my bed well and stay put. I have a really thick mattress with a built-in pillow top, and on top of that I have yet another (foam) mattress pad. All total, it is about 15 inches deep. I have a really hard time finding sheets that will not only fit but also stay in place. I am happy to report that these do both! Another thing I would like to note is that I have washed the sheets twice now and have had no problems with them pilling at all. Unfortunately I have to say that these sheets definitely do wrinkle, although I'm pretty sure almost every sheet set I own does too. Wrinkles on my clothes bother me. Wrinkles on my sheets? Not so much. 😂 Obviously everyone has their own opinion and mine is that these sheets are worth the money for sure! ... show more

I bought these in July of 2024, this is the second time I’ve put them on the bed and this is what I find. The so called “fitted” sheet on two sides has an approximate 2” section added to it to I guess make it longer (first strike). The picture with the two holes is this seam that is coming apart where they added material to make the fitted sheet a king size (second strike). This caused me to really inspect the whole bedding set and that is when I found the top of the main sheet is also coming apart at the sewn seem (third strike) These sheets are not even 5 months old and all this was discovered after only the second washing. I would like to think when I pay $100 for a set of king sheets they would last a year. And maybe other manufacturers do but these certainly didn’t meet the mark! I was unable to locate a “contact seller” toggle to see if they would stand behind them/replace them as I like the feel of the material and the color so this review was my only outlet. I guess I’m just the unluckily one this time but my review stands and with proof, buyer beware! ... show more

This is the first time I purchased sheets online. I’ve never purchased Egyptian Cotton or ventured into 800 TC quality. I assumed a Queen sized sheet set should be a standard size in 2024, but mattress depths vary. The material is thick, a nice weight, but not as silky smooth as I thought they might be after 4 washes. The Burgundy color is “rich.” It looks great against the duvet cover which is gold with navy blue fleur-de-lis patterns with a thin strip of burgundy on some of the curves. The Amazon ad claims “16” Deep Pocket (Fits upto 18” Mattress).” I have a 12” thick mattress, which is a tight fit... The top sheet is not as wide as I would like it to be. I like the top sheet to be wider than the mattress and duvet cover, for it to drape slightly past the mattress pad and the top of box spring. This sheet is 6” short of reaching that position on both sides with a 12” mattress... I'm glad I purchased this set on sale. ... show more
