The product works great, you might actually need 2 backstops to get good coverage if your kids like to shoot from any sort of angle on goal, but they do the job. The catch the ball and it basically falls to the ground. These designs aren't meant to bounce back. They are easy to move around when cutting grass or take down when not in use, although we leave ours up all the time . . . leading to their customer service. We purchased this backstop to use at home for lacrosse, with two high school boys. After sitting outside in the grass for 4+ years, the bottom rail became rusted and broke in two. I decided to check the warranty before throwing it away and found the frame had a lifetime warranty. I sent in some pictures of the broken, rusty piece and asked for a few new pieces, hoping I'd get a response or 50% discount. Instead, Rukket sent me a brand new backstop without any questions. Can't ask for more than that. I don't think the product had any issues, because our lacrosse goal has also rusted and broken a couple of times from sitting in our yard. ... show more

I am an adult male and can kick soccer balls into it from 10 ft away without it moving much at all. It takes about 5 mins to setup/tear down for one adult. When you do the top part, bend it over.

I bought this for my son at the beginning of spring, by the end of the summer it faded a lot. However, it’s taken a beating. Stays outside during rain and wind, it’s fallen over multiple times, we just pick it back up and it’s ready to go! It’s been used as a lacrosse ball shield, soccer goal and much more. The foot stabilizer posts do come unscrewed often. Unsure how that happens so frequently. Overall, I would recommend this net. It will fade quick if left outside, but it serves its purpose and can take a beating. ... show more

I’ve shopped this company before and will only buy these nets and products. The last one I had withstood 10 years of being left up and outside until my boys got too much mud stuck in one of the poles- so would still be great if I can get the mud out- I ordered a bigger one this time too for my yard now…these poles do not rust or anything- trhis company is amazing and these products are amazing. this product is great for soccer practice. It was easy to assemble, light weight, easy to move. It comes with the spikes to insert in the ground. The spikes are not as strong as I had wished. If you have hard ground, they will bend easily when hammering into the ground.

I bought this product as a Christmas gift for my son to save him from continuously going into the neighbor's backyard to collect the balls that did not make it into his Lacrosse goal. This net was very easy to assemble, much easier than nets from other brands that he has had. It is supposed to be easily transportable and I believe this. It is very lightweight and a transport bag was included in the packaging. It is not a feature that we should use, but it is good to know for those of you that are interested in it. The net is a decent 9ft high by 12ft wide, offering good coverage behind the Lacrosse goal. It is made out of materials that look durable and I am not worried of it breaking anytime soon under normal use. My only complaint would be that it sags a bit in the middle. Nothing to complain too much about though, and the same amount of sagging can be noticed on the pictures of the product shown on Amazon or on the manufacturer's website, so Rukket is being honest in their advertising. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and recommend it to anyone. ... show more

I have tried several nets that allow my daughter to practice field hockey...all previous ones were golf nets. All had great reviews but in the end did not last or stand up to the use. The Rukket backstop has been awesome. Very easy to set up and also a great size. The net is very stable and receives the hard hit hockey drives. The ball either rest at the bottom of the net and some will bounce back out of the way. The net is easily movable to accommodate various practice drills. This net will transition to a backstop to the basketball goal when the FH season is over. I would highly recommend this net. ... show more

I recommend this product. I have owned this net for about a month in the height of lacrosse season. I was easily able to put it together- less than 10 minutes the first time. The netting is nice, thick and flexible. My daughters and son use this behind the goal when they take shots. This is sturdy enough to handle hard/fast shots without getting knocked over. It occasionally gets blown over with HIGH winds, but once I used the pins I had no problems. My only critique is the way they labeled the pieces for initial assembly. There are small stickers with letters on them that can come off. It would have been nice if they could have stamped letters into the metal vice using the stickers. We plan on mainly using it in the backyard, so I don't anticipate taking it apart frequently. The kids love it as they can shoot as hard and as fast as they want without fear of missing the goal and hitting the fence or the neighbor's house. ... show more
