I've been adding this kelp feed to my regular waterings and foliar sprays for the last two months on my many houseplants and truly believe it's made a difference in their overall health and growth. Granted, my plants thrive outside and in my greenhouse under grow lights, but the kelp seems to have pushed them into overdrive. A neighbor gave me a healthy spider plant with some spiderettes in June. I propagated those spiderettes and they have already sent out runners with little plants of their own (which is unusual for plants less than a year old). The mother plant pictured has sent out new growth since I started with kelp. I've lost count after 20 new spiderettes. And the Boston fern was crispy fried with one healthy frond when I got it with the spider. The growth of my son's snake plant, Oscar, happened over 36 days, and this plant gets ambient light only. The Kimberly Queen fern was picked off the clearance shelf a month ago, and it's been rapidly sprouting new growth. I'm wary of fertilizers because some plants don't tolerate them as well as others, so I feel like this is a safe alternative. Yep, I pretty much think this stuff is liquid gold! ... show more

I use this on my orchids one week out of the month, with regular fertilizer two weeks of the month. I did notice that when I use this kelp stuff, it seems to generate new roots from the base of the plant or start up new pseudobulbs or canes. These things are most likely to happen during kelp week. This stuff goes a long way for a small bottle. It dissolves perfectly, and there is a very faint ocean smell to the water when it is mixed in. I'll start off by saying good customer service. and it's possible that batch went bad. I will revises my 1 star to a 4 for my experience. ------------------------------ Thought I would try this clean kelp and the fertilizer seem like a good price would not put it in my reservoir ever again went sour overnight I'm used to using orca to get the beneficials which is a little bit more pricier but does not leave nasty in your reservoir. Have been growing for over 5 years no issues usually I use RO that has seven parts per million and I always use orca I have a 20 gallon tank and I use 30 ml every two weeks and never have issues. ... show more

    • Frail Orchids to Blooming Beauties

I had a few orchids that simply couldn’t turn the corner from frail to robust. You know the orchid. It’s the one you won’t give up on because it’s been in the “family” for years. But, for some reason, it’s get-up-and-go-got-up-and-left! I did some research and discovered this liquid magic. My practice, once a week, is to sit the pots in water for an hour to allow the potting mixture to soak up the liquid. It’s so easy to add this solution to the water, give it a stir and watch the evolution. The leaves are perky and the blooms profuse. I normally do not do reviews but after using this product felt like I had to let others know how good this is. I got the Bloom city clean kelp right before I was leaving town to go help my daughter with the Grandkids for two and a half weeks. I decided to Feed my plants before I left and had a neighbor girl come and water my flowers while I was gone because my husband is not the best at keeping up with it. Two weeks into me being gone I got a call from my husband saying he couldn’t believe how good all my flowers looked despite the fact that the temperatures had been in the upper 90’s . He decided to send me pictures and needless to say I was shocked was an understatement. When I left my plants had been just laying over the top of my pots and by the pictures you can see they are now almost to the bottom of the pots. I have used other plant food with my plants but have never gotten this kind of growth and flowering before. It is definitely worth giving a try. ... show more
