I first slept on an 'adjustable' bed while staying at a friend's house and couldn't believe how much better I slept. Much more comfortable, much less tossing & turning, my frequent GERD-when-laying-flat issues were absent, and my wife's pretty-bad snoring was notably absent. This bed assembled easily. Screw in the legs, connect a plug and off you go. Ours is a split-king and I feared the 'connectors' that hold the two pieces together would be a hassle to install - not at all a problem as it turned out. It's very stable and solid - which didn't surprise me given the fact it's pretty darn heavy. Certainly didn't feel like it was in any way flimsy. Operation is quite quiet and smooth. I opted for the wired controllers b/c we have nightstands on both sides - So a wire wasn't really a problem, and why worry about batteries/misplaced remote? The remotes work great. Had a great night's sleep on it last night (night 1). I currently have it set up for 'single' operation (both sides go up and down together) since we still have a regular single-king mattress. That was easy to do (just connect the two sides with the provided cord). BUT, I'm glad we got the split king. As nice as we slept last night, she would have preferred the head-end a bit higher, and I'd have preferred it a bit lower. We compromised, and it was still great - but doubtless it'll be even better when the new mattresses arrive and we can each have whatever we like ('decoupling' the two side controls is as simple as unplugging that cord I mentioned). My friend's bed was a 'name brand' model that cost triple the money (despite being a plain-king, not a split-king) and I think the value-for-money here is good. Only potential issue I see is durability / quality-over-time. I'll come back and revise as needed if that's an issue. ... show more

Very basic bed fits the bill. Elderly gentleman with Alzheimer's struggles with complex remotes and misplaces most wireless remotes. This bed only has head up/down, feet up/down and go flat... the remote is wired so never gets misplaced. The bed has greatly reduced his coughing at night with the ability to raise the head a bit. I say I never slept so good yes I wanted to return it but I'm so happy I didn't the swelling in my legs are going I don't have to prop myself up on pillows to read I'm so in love with my blissful night adjustable bed thank you again

An inexpensive basic electric bed. Works perfectly with memory foam mattresses. Raises head and feet to desired heights. No noise and very smooth while adjusting. Each side has a remote. Love this!!!
