We have used several crib mattresses with our 2 kids and none of them compare to this Blissful Diary mattress. This is like a tiny adult mattress. It has the cushioned puffed up sections on the surface. The fabric is soft and it has an edging that adds to the structure and over all appeal of quality. One side (I’m assuming the infant side) has a removable zippered flap that can be washed and is waterproof. I’m not going to lie, that is a really novel feature. For all intents and purposes that seems to eliminate the need to use a mattress protector cover/sheet. However, we use the opposite side for our 3 year old and even if we did use the infant side, I probably would still use a waterproof mattress protector. I was also really intrigued by the price of this Blissful Diary mattress. Crib mattresses can be really expensive. The mattresses on the cheaper end may not hold up to years of use or may still have inner coil springs. At the moment, Blissful Diary’s crib mattress is $80 with a $10 off coupon. That’s actually affordable. If you hope to buy a crib mattress that at some point you would like to use when you convert/transition into a toddler bed frame, you may as well purchase a good quality bed that holds up. This Blissful Diary mattress seems to have nice quality, gives me the sense that I’m actually laying my toddler on a real mattress and still doesn't cost a fortune. I’m stoked that she will have this mattress for another 2 or 3 years until she grows too big for it. If you are shopping for your first crib mattress or you’re looking to upgrade, I don’t think you would be disappointed by this Blissful Diary brand. ... show more

This is a great mattress. To baby sleeps way longer and with less disturbance. It's firm yet has about a half inch of softness on top. Definitely a good buy.

I think this is such a nice bed. It definitely takes some time for the intended density and shape to return to the mattress but when it does, your child will be sleeping on luxury. There was no strange smell coming from the mattress and the cover is so soft. My baby sleeps so good on it. The downside is that it is not water proof and it's essentially a large sponge for a toddler. That's not going to work out for long if you don't put some sort of mattress protector in place. This Blissful Diary 100% Breathable Crib Mattress arrives rolled, compressed and vacuum sealed. It requires careful unpackaging and up to 72 hours to fully decompress, although it seemed to be ready to go in less time than expected. Once it’s ready, it’s a terrific standard size crib mattress. The foam is what you would expect, and the soft cover fully unzips for easy cleaning. Overall, this Blissful Diary mattress is very good quality and is comparable to other name brand mattresses. This is a nice quality memory foam crib mattress. I previously used regular crib mattresses that were not memory foam with my older kids. It is a good firmness for the baby to safely sleep but soft enough for comfort. Like most memory foam mattresses this came vacuum sealed and rolled up. There was minimal odor from the foam, but that cleared after about an hour. It took a couple of hours to fully fluff up. I was very surprised when this little box showed up on my porch. I was expecting a full crib mattress in plastic. This mattress came vacuum sealed and rolled up. It even came with a little tool to cut the plastic open. Once open it instantly began to expand. It opened up rather quickly. I like that it was with a zipper case around the mattress so it can be washed. I am currently 7 months pregnant and can not wait for my little one to come home and have a nice crib mattress to lay on. ... show more
