This is a great little system. I've been looking and analyzing various brands of video doorbell cameras for over a year. Was leaning towards a Nest but couldn't resist due to the recent Amazon Deal Days bundle price. Not only did I get a new video doorbell but an indoor AND outdoor camera with the Sync2 module (brain) that controls everything for less money!!! Setup was relatively easy and I was able to integrate the doorbell chime with my original wired unit so both work simultaneously. And easy to install and not so expensive. As long as they don't try to go up on the price I will keep buying but as soon as they go up on the price if they do I will stop my subscription and I will not buy anymore

I bought the Blink Whole Home Bundle – Outdoor 4 camera, Mini 2 camera (white), Video Doorbell system (black) and had issues with connecting them. The mini 2 had not connected since the day I received it and I have contacted blink multiple times to try and fix the issues. I have written them and gotten no response to try and rectify the issue. Normally I love blink but this experience has been extremely disappointing. I have a camera that is suppose to be a stand alone but it needs to be connected to my module so idk how it is a stand alone. Either way the brand new mini 2 has never worked and I am extremely disappointed when it is also the way I am notified that my doorbell is being rung but I can’t use that feature. I bought these to add to my blink system and unfortunately I am not happy. I hope this will help me to get in touch with the necessary personnel so I can have the issue rectified. Because I really only had good things to say previously about Blink and I recommended them to everyone looking for a good security system until this happened. I am an influencer and I cannot fully promote a product when there has been this many issues with trying to get it resolved privately. ... show more

Got it on sale, very easy to install and connect to my WiFi. I have a medium level WiFi plan so was pleasantly surprised that adding so many new devices didn’t drag my WiFi service down. So far no issues with the battery powered ones and they’re all working great. Also has good range. Only con so far is sometimes a video cuts shorter than I’d like but I believe I can adjust my settings to record longer. ... show more

    • Nice but has lots of downsides
It's difficult to recommend this unit. There are some significant issues that are close to deal breakers. I have chosen to stick with it, but I can understand this might not be the average take. The Issues: - It's SLOW. The unit is slow to connect to the various cameras and often will take long enough that the person leaves the door before its connected (15-20 seconds). -Limited recording unless you have the cloud service. Will allow recording when the doorbell is pressed, but not just on demand, without a subscription. -OK recording quality -OK to poor auto exposure -Not fully compatible with a normal wired bell unit. The unit will sometimes ring, and sometimes not. -Only allows one feed at a time when monitoring and communicating to the door The Good: -With the Sync unit (included in this package), you can manage and use most features the unit offers without a subscription (minus some recording situations mentioned earlier, which is odd because it can be saved to your own USB drive). -Fairly easy to setup and great instructions to help. -VERY expandable at a relatively low cost. -Software is pretty good, but the only problem is its speed of connecting to various units. -Tons of configurability. This one of the few systems that allow detection zones to be configured as much as it is. I'd say they don't work perfectly but are still very good. Overall, its fine, but the slow connection speed, temperamental doorbell rings, and odd limits on your purchased hardware may turn many people off. ... show more
