  • Understanding that all reviews are subjective, IMHO this device is great
Color: Champagne
Assembly was fairly easy for my husband who put it together in <30 minutes while watching a soccer game. Very sturdy for a lightweight device. Personally, as a walker it function very well. And as a walker, it gives you a nice stop and rest seat before you move on. In house as a wheelchair it’s just ok, if rear wheels could swivel, maneuvering turns would be easier. Our floors are tile and wood, carpet would be a problem. Not quite sure how this would work as a wheelchair outside of home setting, rough sidewalks, cobblestones, grass, etc - wouldn’t even attempt it. Smooth floors should not be a problem. Hand brakes are excellent when engaged and give support when you go to sit Reviewers who posted videos were a great help with assembly, although directions provided were fairly easy to follow 2 final thoughts…this is not a device that you would sit in comfortably for hours…and, I took a risk and bought this as an open box at a substantial savings. Just did not come in original box…all parts were there ... show more

  • Love this!
Color: Blue
I love this! My husband can use the walker, but when he gets too tired, I can convert it to a wheelchair. Very handy. We have a full size wheelchair for him but it’s too heavy for me to get in and out of our vehicle by myself. This walker/wheelchair is much lighter than.

On our last cruise in Dec we discovered that we would not walk on our cruise inApril 16. So on the way home we ordered your walker that you had. When we recit we were able to put it together and the we put it in our bedroom for our April cruise. We are both 81 years old. On our way to Miami we discover that one of the front wheels fell off so to make a long story we could not use the chair at all and we had to haul it all over the airport and to our ship. We have NEVER used it at all. I understand it is past the return time but. WE CAN NOT ROLL THE CHAIR AT ALL. WHAT CAN WE DO. I can send pictures if needed It works great now can't wait to use it on our next cruise ... show more

  • Not for airline travel or extended use.
Color: Champagne
Great idea, poor quality for the $219 price!! It assembled reasonably easily, but some of the directions were confusing. I bought this product to use on a two-week trip to Europe to help with all the walking. I planned to use the walker as far as I could and then switch to the wheel chair. It worked, but just barely. It had to be checked as airline baggage and just didn’t stand up to the rough handling by the baggage handlers. Upon arrival, two of the wheels had fallen off. Luckily the baggage guys had found them and kept them with the walker. The cobblestones and rough sidewalks in Europe caused several of the bolts to come loose and I lost both foot rests at different times. This problem would have been solved had the manufacturer put a little rubber on the nut used to tighten the bolt. I tightened them as much as possible on assembly but the rough handling by the airlines and the vibrations from bouncing on the cobblestones and bumpy sidewalks jarred them loose, and the bolts were lost. Zip ties solved the problem, but it shouldn’t have happened at all. To make matters worse, one of the catches to keep the footrests in place when in use as a walker broke and the footrest had to be zip-tied in place and couldn’t be used. After two weeks, it’s pretty beat up. On the plus side, it was light-weight, reasonably comfortable, and easy to use. Height adjustment was quick and easy. I’m thinking it will be great for museums and the like, but it’s not cut out for what I bought it for. Given the price tag, I’m pretty disappointed. ... show more

  • Super Adaptable, but Wheels can stop at small obstacles in road
Color: Blue
This is a great wheelchair walker. I've really enjoyed the lightweight nature of the Walker and the flexibility of being able to use it either as a wheelchair or as a Walker. this week this weekend I used it significantly while walking through an arboretum And was able to use both of its functions. What I don't like about it is that the front wheels get caught very quickly on any small obstacle. when. when my mother was in the wheelchair being pushed And we and we would come up upon a twig or a small bump, we would get jammed as if we had just suddenly slammed on the brakes. this was a little uncomfortable because my mother wasn't expecting that And as a result I ended up having to hold her while also pushing the wheelchair so as to make sure that she didn't fall from the wheelchair. I think it would have been helpful to have a seat belt but if you were moving at some speed and hit a small obstacle such as a twig or a rock it's possible that you could tip over. I also don't like the bag and its placement. it comes off easily and ultimately we placed on the side of the chair. But then it interferes with the wheelchair footrest. One of the locks for the foot rest stopped working on Day 2. We could still use the footrest so it's not been that big of an issue for me. but I was not happy that it had broken so quickly. ... show more
