Gave coworker an office party and she loved her horror theme. The purple lights added just the right amount of oooohh. My only negative is that you have to cycle thru all the light options to turn it off, would have just liked a toggle on and off.

We put these lights around our golf cart and they are freaking awesome. The lights have 9 functions that can go fast or fade in and out slowly and so forth. The bloody knives hanging down add a fun flare to them. When we went camping several people asked us about them. They were easy to hang with a couple pieces of tape to the roof of the golf cart. This is a short string of lights and cardboard instruments spattered with red to simulate blood. A cute idea but I found it lacking in a couple of ways. The string is quite short, only 12 ft so the application is limited. Outdoor use could be a problem in wet regions as the instruments are cardboard and will fall apart if exposed to rain. I *love* cheesy Halloween decor and this fits the bill. The bloody tools are hilarious. They are made out of thin cardboard so they aren't super sturdy but if you keep them hung up high (I have mine over my front door) and don't let the kids play with them, they'll stay in shape. Love all the options for the purple lights. The kids enjoy choosing which option to turn on at night. 16.99 is a little pricy for the quality of the product but I do appreciate that the decorations come prestrung so all in all, five stars. ... show more

I love the mobility of these lights. With the battery pack, it makes it easy to hang these lights anywhere indoors or outdoors. I love all the different light modes and the added fake knives add a nice tough. I would be careful with outdoor use specifically with the fake knives because they are more like a cardboard material and im not sure how well they would hold up in bad weather. ... show more
