Description

The Blaze outdoor ice maker can produce up to 50 pounds of cube ice per day and can hold 25 pounds in its removable bin. Inside the ice maker, a cool blue LED illuminates the contents, making things easy to see. The ice maker also includes a self cleaning mode and convenient one button operation. The Blaze ice machine features an in-line water filter which filters out impurities, ensuring the ice production is free of contaminants. The unit is made from durable stainless steel and features a reversible door to suit your specific needs. The front venting design allows it to be used in a built-in application, or it can be used as a freestanding unit. The bottom of the ice maker is equipped with four leveling legs for a perfect fit. It operates on environmentally friendly R134a refrigerant, carries an Energy Star rating and UL listing for outdoor use. This ice maker includes a stainless steel ice scoop, drain line and water line.

Bought the 50lb outdoor Ice Maker for our pool house that we were building last Fall 2019 and wanted to make sure we had all of our appliances ready for this Spring 2020. Installed the ice maker and it makes the worst ice cubes and they fall out with a thick coating of ice so you can’t even break the cubes up. Read the manual and watched a YouTube video to make sure I was adjusting the cube size correctly thinking it would help, but to no avail. We also purchased the purifier as the cubes here very cloudy and “soft”-for you ice cube lovers and still nothing. I purchased this product in 2016 (after going through 2 other outdoor ice machines that only worked for a month or two each) and I am happy to say this machine is still working perfectly. I know it's more expensive than some of the other ice machines out there but I would suggest you pay the extra money to get a machine that will work year after year. It does not have a freezer so your ice will melt and there will be water but the ice actually lasts a long time even though there is no freezer. Our outdoor summer days are usually in the high 90s or low 100s and it still works like a dream. ... show more

Very disappointed. This thing is noting but trouble. Unit is 2 years old and simply does not work well. It only creates huge sheets of incomplete ice blocks. No ice cubes, just giant frozen blocks. They fall, jam and then it says the bin is full, when it is totally empty. The controls are very difficult to know what is going on. Worst is the customer service from Blaze directly, they are of no help at all. $2k and they don’t even answer an email or the phone! ... show more
