The platform comes in smallish flat package and weighs about 36 lbs; mine was missing several bolts which was awkward, but I managed. Best done with good lighting and extra room. It can be assembled by one person, but would be easier with two, at least at the beginning when you try to get the parts to align. My only "complaint" so far, is the mattress slips around a great deal on the frame. I wish there was some way of anchoring the bed, but all in all I am quite happy with my new bed frame. ... show more

Instructions are unclear, this thing is janky, it's weak, unstable, and parts fall off. Don't even think about performing the physical act of love on this thing.
