My dog is very active and tends to pull occasionally on walks. This collar has been the answer to our needs. It is padded, durable, and the best quality. I would recommend this collar to anyone. When the time comes to need a replacement, I will order this one again.

    • Very nice collar
My husband wasn't so keen on the pink with the black, but oh well, it wasn't for him...LOL. I bought her a name tag that is also pink so she matches....LOL. Our female pit/lab mix goes into a stream almost daily and we found that leather collars just don't hold up to her pulling on the leash or her chain (when we take her out somewhere where we need to chain her up). She broke the last leather collar just with one jerk (an expensive Hamilton). The d-ring just ripped through the leather. This collar seems to be holding up well. It gets wet and she has jerked on the d-ring a few times but it has stayed intact. I think part of the issue with the leather ones is that it doesn't dry fast enough. This collar dries quicker. Another issue is that most leather collars are heavier and not as wide. This one is light weight and wider, which helps if we walk her on the leash versus her harness. I would suggest these to someone who has a medium to large dog. ... show more

    • Great collar for a large dog!
This is the only collar that fits and is durable for our 185 pound Great Dane. It's padded so it does wear away his fur on his neck but durable to hold up under the MANY walks he takes! The blue collar is a true royal blue.

For the most part I was pretty happy with this collar. It fit good, looked good on him, felt like it was comfy, and it worked for a while. I have been looking for a collar that my dog can't break. It worked for about 7 months but he ended up breaking it. As far as collars go this one worked the best from what I have found but I'm still on the lookout for one that will last longer. ... show more

    • More expensive than most but well worth it!
My dog is quite picky when it comes to collars. Often comfort and build quality is questionable but Black Rhino delivers! It’s super soft, durable and my dog doesn’t even feel it’s there. Small side clip for tag was a great idea too. Thank you!

This dog collar is nice, thick and sturdy. It was perfect for my Great Pyrenees until he grew out of it. As you can see, it held up perfectly.... only if his neck didn't get bigger 😮💨😮💨. Big dog life 🤣🤣
