This thing works as advertised and does a great job. It’s easy to use, well built and I really like the different friction settings for differing speeds of belay/rappelling. It will not work with a 10mm rope and may not work for slightly smaller ropes as well; anything over 9mm I wouldn’t say it will work. It will be great for rec climbing, but rappelling or rescue/recovery work with a thicker or static rope will be difficult. ... show more
