  • Started sparking and burned out almost immediately
I purchased two of these, 1 through Amazon, 1 through eBay. Both burned out in less than 24 hours. This was after using an APW 3 with the same miner. I ordered several miners without power supplies and tested them all with the APW 3, I thought this would be a deal instead both of them were fire hazards. Will not buy again. Also while the APW 7 and 3 both have bitmain branding on top, the APW 7 is clearly built by a different manufacturer. ... show more

  • NOT 1800W, MAYBE 1350-1400W
Purchased 3 of these Power supplies for our mining rigs, they say they are 1800Watts but they are not. First Rig: BTC Biostar D motherboard, 7x 1660 TI's and One 3060 TI. Pulls about 599W to about 620 W. The first one I purchased runs at 599W just fine with 7x 1660 TI's and One 3060 TI. Not a single issue, not once. Second Rig (Power Monster: Power supply tester/killer) BTC Biostar D Motherboard, 7 x 3060 TI's and one 3080 TI 12GB. Draws about 1330W - 1380W ? Not sure kills these at around that Wattage. The second ran for a while then blew when I completed the full 8 Cards on the Motherboard. The Second Rig was running at about 1335W to 1380W from what I could tell before it popped. I got a Third power supply to replace the second believing maybe it was a defect or something else. Sure enough, once the system got to around 1350W and I was at ease. I walked off and it popped around 1370W's. These power supplies are good for anything under 1300W's from what I can tell but not for anything over. I hope they can fix these but I am going to get different Power supplies from now on. ... show more

  • 2 of them failed in less than a month
Was running 9 Goldshell Mini Doge miners with this supply. Technically it should be able to push 10. It died in less than a month. Fortunately still in the return window. I’ll try another and hope for better luck. Can’t really give it good marks with that sort of reliability. Updated: Got my replacement from Amazon. This unit was even worse than the first. The first unit worked flawlessly for 3 weeks before it burned out. This 2nd unit never worked correctly. It powered up all 9 Goldshell Mini Doge miners, but would get too hot. It would shut down, restart, power up the miners again, get too hot, shut down, restart, over and over. Since the miners were constantly shutting down, the hash rates were very reduced. I don’t know if these are authentic Bitmain products or not. If authentic, Bitmain makes products of terrible quality. ... show more

  • Died 2 days after the return window closed.
I suspect these may be reconditioned with very cheap parts. Made a loud noise, visible electrical spark flash, And wont turn on again. This is not what you can expect from a power supply that is barely a month old. And being used in a climate controlled enviroment . Lesson learned. Will purchase from more reputable seller next time. ... show more

  • Clean and targeted design
Works great for my mining rigs, mostly because of a much simpler targeted design. It has ten 6 pin power leads, each with 180W power. I use one lead per RTX 3070 with a “Y” splitter cable and have found it to be very stable. Clean, simple, targeted design and functionality at a good price!

  • Works great with the AntMiner Z11, plug and play
No issues so far, working perfectly on a new Z11 Antminer. It was delivered very quick and was well packed. Only issue is there is no switch, to turn on and off you most unplug it and plug it back in. Which seems kinda cheap in that respect. Also to be expected, it is rather noisy (nothing deducted for that) ... show more

  • Not impressed
I used a model 3 for years. The model 7 is not much of an upgrade. It was loud and the power saving was only about 10 watts or 0.7%. I had less than 1% power saving on 220v.

  • Power supply was clean.
The power supply I received was used. Rusted fan guard and dust in the machine still. The other power supplies I purchased looked new.
