  • UPDATE! Not a pill AND no way to measure it!
Flavor Name: Liver Size: 1 Pound
Update: Customer service was GREAT, they issued a refund. Apparently it’s a limitation imposed by Amazon on this type of product. In addition, they said they have updated their labels to be MUCH more clear AND have made the scoop bigger so you can find it. This will be rolling out soon, I’m sure they have old stock to deal with. So, just wanted to update you all and change my review from 1 star to 5 stars. They actually do care about and are listening to their customers and are implementing change!! I don’t like that it says pills on front but it ends up a powder. In addition the directions say 1 scoop or 2.7 grams. But there is no “scooper” and I have no way to measure out grams. And I tried just a half teaspoon, I definitely don’t want to OD a pregnant dog, and she refuses it. And I don’t blame her. It does smell gross. AND the powder gets EVERYWHERE when you open it. You always have to clean up a mess. No wonder it’s NO RETURNS. ... show more

  • has a lot of nutrition in it
Flavor Name: Liver Size: 1 Pound
i'm waiting for my dog to go into heat again, to mate her, i'm glad that this is powder and not pills, because the powder doesn't break down as quick as the pills will, based on the ingredients it has a lot of nutrition in it, i used two other products by this company, one to regulate her heat cycle and my dog came in heat within the period that would have been her normal range (between 4 to 6 months) the other product i used by this company was for weight gain and nutrition, when my fur baby went in heat she lost her appetite, i believe that product helped her to gain her weight back she filling back out nicely, so i believe this product will also work! ... show more

  • Powder not a pill
Flavor Name: Liver Size: 1 Pound
I had to give this product four stars instead of five because the title says pills which it's not. This product is a powder which is fine but the title is misleading. Overall I would say this provides excellent quality nutrients for my bitches and it is a great supplement. They're very excited when I put this in their food and I find it easy to recommend ... show more

  • Not a pill
Flavor Name: Liver Size: 1 Pound
First off, my dog actually loves this stuff!! Seems to have a lot of the extra nutrients needed during the heat cycle, pregnancy, and postnatal. I gave it three stars for two reasons. One, it is marketed as "PILLS" when it is powder. That is a big difference. Two, the sticker is placed over the instructions and it is almost impossible to peel it off of there. Other than that, I would recommend this for your female dog. ... show more

  • Disappointed.
Flavor Name: Liver Size: 1 Pound
I just opened the package it came it and noticed that it was all dusty and so was the container. When I open the container some powder fell out. Looks like it has a little tear or it was opened. Does this happen normally? Is this even a new product?

  • Both of my girls like the taste
Flavor Name: Liver Size: 1 Pound
I have a three-week-old litter now and another girl currently breeding, so providing them both with supplemental vitamins and minerals to support their health as well as fetal development is important. Despite its name, this product is powder rather than pills, so it's easier to ensure each dog gets the right amount for their weight, and it's easy to mix in with their food. My girls seem to like the pork liver taste enough that they don't even notice it when I mix it into their food. There's a scoop provided in the container of powder, and you may need to use a spoon to find it, but it's there. The feeding instructions are to give 1 scoop full per 25# your dog weighs daily. The provided scoop holds 2.7 grams of powder, so that's 2.7 gm per #25 lb weight. That's fine as long as you have a large dog, but what do you do if you have smaller dogs? Both of my Maltese girls are under 6 lbs each, so I weighed and calculated the proper dose per day for a 5 lb dog and you can use that to calculate your dogs needs if you own dogs that weight less than 25 lbs too. According to my calculations you should give 0.54 grams of powder per day per 5 lbs your dog weighs. The closest measuring instrument for that is 1/8th of a teaspoon (which holds approx. 0.60 gms). I happened to have a scoop that size, but if you don't then you can get one here on Amazon and they don't cost much. How to feed it? It's a liver flavored powder, so it's easy to sprinkle over dry or solid food or mix into wet food. My dogs like the taste and neither girl has had any change in bowel habits since I've been adding it to their food. Always consult your vet before giving your dog supplements. I'm pleased with the ingredients in this product and in knowing that it will provide extra nutritional support for my dogs and the puppies. ... show more
