Overall this is good. Nice planter, fake rocks on top of planter add nice touch, and plant leaves are realistic looking enough. But there were some problems with the design and packaging... Each leaf has a vertical wire that runs through the center of it...the idea being that once you unpack your plant, you can then open up the plant...adjust the positioning of the leaves...until it looks more realistiic...that the growth pattern looks natural. However, the wires STOP a few inches before the top ends of the leaves. When the PACKED the plant, all the TOPS of the leaves were severely BENT. So when you then UNpack the plant, the tops of the longer leaves all had this strange BEND DOWNWARD. Clearly not a natural growth pattern or appearance, for this plant. As mentioned, since the top ends of the leaves have no wire, there's no way to RE-BEND the tops of the leaves and then have them STAY that way, in a more natural, UPRIGHT growth pattern. So what I am left with, even after trying to bend, re-bend, fold, tape down in the opposite direction etc... even after lots of fighting to try and get the tops of the leaves to stand more upright....well, I'm left with slightly weird looking leaves. Buyers should not have to do this much work to try and get the plant to look as it should. They need to either put wire ALL THE WAY to the ends/tips of the leaves and/or they need to put the plant into a large enough box, such that they don't need to BEND the leaves in order to fit the plant into the box. In the photos I included, you can see where I took the upper tips of the leaves....where the wire no longer runs...and tried to clip the tips to the main part of the leaves, in order to try and 're-train' or 're-bend' the leaf tips back in the other direction. Just keep in mind, if you attempt this, that.... you don't want to bend the leaf tips such that, it might end up making the very end of the wire poke thru or tear thru any of the leaf. After multiple attempts of clipping down the bent tips of the leaves, and repositioning the paper clips etc., I finally got the leaf tips more or less straight and no longer with a weird bend in them.... ... show more

I knew from the moment I saw the haphazard box about 2 sizes too small it was shoved into. Every leaf was bent beyond fixing. The pebbles in the bottom were shaking around in the box. The cheap plastic container was covered in scuff marks and dust / dirt. I honestly can't believe anything of this quality was $40. It's going right back to where it came from. ... show more

Its a nice plant after I cleaned all the leaves and pot very dusty and dirty for the price paid. The rocks a nice touch in pot but some where missing. Didn't want the hassel of sending back.
