Smooth, flush design on the remote controller handles. Can't feel the seam really. Which is important because I returned another charger stand that looked just like this one but you could feel the seam and the charging pins were smooshed down. It was by JHZWD and is apparently no longer available by them. Very thoughtful to include FOUR (4) tiny magnetic USB type C dongles ! Those things are wee tiny and easy to drop and lose. That said, from time to time, my headset complains that there is dust, debris, or liquid in the charging port. I just remove and replug the dongle and the error goes away. It's annoying enough to give 4 of 5 stars. I don't know what needs to be done to reduce that error but I get it maybe every 4th time I use my VR Headset. I love that you can turn the RGB off. I don't care about that feature. I like that there's a visual battery charge indicator on the stand. It was thoughtfully designed and easy to use. Totally worth the money! No more buying a ton of batteries for the joycons! Nor charging batteries and swapping them all the time. Seems fragile enough to put out of the way from kids, pets, and drunk friends. But who would want their $300+ VR headset out in a place where it could be damaged anyway?! ... show more

    • Very useful & Works perfectly, but:
I would recommend using the USB that comes to charge the headset itself to charge it, because the magnetic pieces often have some issues charging and whatnot, I ended up using the USB from the back to charge the headset, and when I had a strap with a battery, I simply used the USB to charge the battery and plugged the battery into the headset itself (Charging both basically). Overall great product! I got 3 for myself and 2 more for a friend, and it really fits perfectly into any space, though it is quite wide, so there are some placement limitations. Love the product overall, 10/10! ... show more

    • Stops working 1st day
When I bought this the reviews were already about 10% saying that this thing may stop working soon after getting it, but I took a chance that those were bad luck and the other 90% of the reviews were good enough....I was wrong. Don't get this thing, it stopped working after the first few hours. This company has something fundamentally flawed with the electronics of their product.     • Easy installation, love the rechargeable controller batteries
This charging station was easy to set up. I especially love the rechargeable batteries for the controllers. My Metaquest 3 fits perfectly in the cradle for charging. I like that the led light can be turned off at the click of a button.

I love having rechargeable controllers and this charges the headset & elite strap as well. However as others have said, it’s a bit bothersome that this dock doesn’t make use of the charging contacts on the headset. It’s ok to use the magnetic tether but if you also have an elite battery strap this design flaw really stands out. The elite battery strap also plugs into the Quest 3’s charging port as you would expect - done via a separate cable from the battery to the port. However you must unplug BOTH ends of this cable to charge the headset & extra battery at the same time, which leads to extra wear & tear on the battery port instead of less. This is the only issue keeping this from being a 5-star review. ... show more

    • Makes charging easy!!
This is exactly what we needed to keep charging simple and organized. My kids love that it stays lit up and lets them know once it’s charged. I love that it has a spot for the handheld controllers and the VR.
