      • Successful Dogfennel weed treatment

    This is first time i used this product. It really works, i had sudden breakout of Dogfennel weed mid/late April. Lawn was already green, i wanted to use something safe for bermuda without much impact. I sprayed just one bottle all over the lawn when temps were between 55-70. I didn’t notice anything for next 3-4 days, but week later, dogfennel started wilting and now after three weeks, not only the existing ones disappeared, new ones stopped too. I did notice slight yellowing of areas where i sprayed heavy but bermuda jumped back and lawn is completely green now. I could smell the product in the lawn for days after spraying it. I guess dogfennel dogged my preemergent treatment this season so i needed a good postemergent to deal with it. Good thing that i like about this product is that it has isoxaben which is a premergent that worked well with my preemergent strategy (Prodiamine). This is by far the best product to deal with weeds if the temperature is right, not only it kills existing weed but fights new ones for months as promised without harming the bermuda lawn ... show more

    Bayer has a pretty extensive line and is better in my opinion than many brand-name weed killers, with that said it will not kill crab grass I was like wtf, i put this down and my crab grass did not die. So have to put down a different product. Although in Bayers defense they make an all-in-one, the caveat is that it's not for all Season long weed prevention :( sucks right? So yeah if you have weeds it does a pretty decent job. Again depends on what you need to accomplish with your lawn. Recommended use gloves and a mask and if you have safety glasses in case it gets windy you have all of your bases covered. Good to use old clothes and shoes and take them off before you go into your house.     This is an excellent product that should be applied in early spring. We have been using it for a good number of years and it really works if the instructions are followed. It kills most existing weeds except those that are very hard to kill like oxalis and certain types of weedy grasses.       • The worst packaging design out there - note the picture does not match what is sent

    The container design is the worst I have ever used. I didn't realize that the picture on Amazon doesn't match what was sent to me until after I used it. Most designs for this spray weed and feed have an easy lever that you can manipulate but not this product. I have liked most of the bioadvanced products I have used but will never get this again. Trying to turn it off and on is nothing short of a nightmare. While you are holding the spraying pesticide, you have to used one hand to pull back a tab and then use the other hand to turn a not so friendly knob. I am either going to have some dead grass in one area or the most beautiful section of lawn you have ever seen as I was in one spot trying to get the dang thing turned off. I went and got pliers and twisted the tab until it came off. Even with the tab off, not easy to use. Learn from me - get a different brand who has invested in their packaging components. ... show more
