I bought this set to attach to a Pioneer a/v receiver I found in a thrift store. The FM antenna is great and pulls in a couple dozen stations. The AM, not so much. But fewer stations are broadcasting on AM these days anyway. The area the receiver is sitting in is an interior wall with heavy tree cover outside, so this could be affecting reception somewhat. Sidenote, the plug adapters included with this were useful as I was not sure which ones would work with this particular receiver. ... show more

you get what you pay for with this,it works but i had to buy an adapter and it was a pain,i spent as much on adapter as the antenna,spend a little more and get better quality.
