I used a thicker quality paper so I could only do 4 or 5 pages at a time. That is the only drawback. Otherwise it is sturdy and easy to align the pages. No worries about crooked sheets or difficulties with punching (as long as you watch the page count). The pages slode perfectly on the metal prongs so they can be bound but the combs included are not for 81/2 x 11, but that was not an issue. I simply snipped a tiny piece off the end and it was just perfect! ... show more

The product description says it comes with 3/8" binding spines but actually came with 5/16" spines which limits the number of pages that can be bound. I had to purchase 3/8" spines from Office Depot. The instructions were just about useless--you will need to look elsewhere to learn how the binder works. Other than that, it works well for small jobs and the price is right. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It is very cheaply made. It’s hard to align the paper in the same place. If you exceed the 12 sheets then abandon all hope. The machine will jam and the only way to get the paper out. Is to either luck out and manage to complete the punch or you will have to break the papers. I obviously understand it’s pretty cheap, but I expected a bit better than this. ... show more

    • Hard to figure out and also easy to mess up
Worked well for maybe a couple of weeks then we got some paper stuck in it, had to take it apart to get the paper out and now the lever isn't going going all the way back. Definitely not worth the money.
