The bed arrived as expected and was assembled easily by 1 person. I was a little concerned because the pieces did not seem sturdy, they are quite lightweight, but the bed together is sturdy. Also, it is quiet, I was concerned about noise because everything is metal, but it has been quiet.

We replaced our standard frame and box springs for our king sz bed with this frame and we love it! It was easy to assemble and doesn't make noise like standard metal frames do. I am 'plus size' and hubby is 'big and tall'. We have a 16" mattress and use this without the box spring, as they aren't needed. It sits higher than when we had the frame/box spring so it's a slight challenge for my 5'3" height to get into bed now, lol. More comfortable and supportive than box springs and gives us the room underneath for storage which is great. Nice and sturdy, quiet and a great buy! ... show more
