The quality is impeccable. Very hard steal. I started with a 12point 1” socket and it stripped the corners. You need a 6 sided 1” socket because there is a tremendous amount of force required to get the ball joints out. I used an impact wrench. Good purchase. Fit like the original. To help others install with out troubles use my method. Take time to clean socket with wire brush on drill. Place ball joint in freezer for 12 hours or more. Heat socket with good heat gun until hot enough it is uncomfortable to touch. Retrieve ball joint from freezer. Place ball joint in socket and quickly tap in place with rubber mallet. ... show more

Made it easy to remove the old ball joints without needing to remove the strut from the ATV. This assumes that the ball joint is still in tact. If the ball joint had separated this won't help you.
