I’ve tried lots of instant snow powders, mainly the most popular brands. When ordering this item, my intentions were to simply give other brands a try and because of the price point, what was there to lose right? This product is awesome! You get an amazing amount of product that created so much instant snow it’s shocking to say the least. It’s super finely milled which makes it great and beneficial when stretching my slime quantities/variety. If you’re purchasing for slime, awesome buy. If you’re purchasing for other uses, awesome buy! Either way, it’s a win, Go for it! ( if your slime feels heavy, or just not clouding, try adding a few pumps of lotion (depending on your batch size, test 1 pump at a time) into your mix. Remember, you’re using more snow than activator and glue. It’s ok to over activate if you’re adding your water activated instant snow. If you choose to leave your slime in it’s normal state, sticky or even a bit loose, you should add your instant snow deactivated which will soak up any moisture. Hope this helps!)     • Fun, but clean-up was harder than other brands
We use instant snow in our preschool every January, and last January I bought this brand because it was such a great deal. The kids loved it and it was so easy to make. Unfortunately, the snow that got on the carpet was SO HARD to vacuum up. I ended up leaving it for a couple days to dry and came back to vacuum later and that helped. It is possible the kids did an extra good job of making a mess so I only took off one star, but I don't remember ever having this problem in the past! Still - SO FUN =) ... show more

    • Perfect for slime
I bought this to use in my slime. The product arrived fast and was easy to use. I would recommend if trying to make a cloud slime with this to use a little less water than recommend on the package. It was pretty cool seeing a powder turn into snow. The whole family enjoyed. Will purchase again

I bought this for my preschool class. I would not buy this brand again. It had a strong odor and did not have directions. Compared to other brands I have used, it did not “fluff” as well. The kids did still like playing in it though.

This powder smells stronger than any nail salon I've ever been in. I definitely recommend opening a window or wearing a mask. I mixed according to the package instructions (1oz powder to 26 oz of water) and I got two big piles of unusable mush. Adding more powder to the mush did absolutely nothing. If you decide to buy this, place the powder in a bowl and add a few drops of water at a time. Wait a few seconds, then shake to mix up. Continue until it's the consistency you want. Be careful though as it heats up as you add water. I would NOT recommend this for use with children (not good for slime or sensory bins). The smell was so bad that I had to send mine outside. The heating of the powder when mixed with cold and room temperature water was worrisome as well. ... show more

Fake snow - my daughter loves this stuff! It's a powdered substance that looks unassuming, but expands to snow like material when you add water. A little definitely goes a long way. You can use this as is after adding water to have snow or you can add it to slime which is what my daughter does with fake snow. She was so happy when I gave this to her, apparently there are different types of slime you can make with this snow.
