    • FANTASTIC! Highly recommended for violinists looking for Christmas songs!
The section in this book is fantastic!! Lots of old traditional carols, some mid-century songs that are now considered classics, and even some more recent Christmas songs from the last two or three decades. My inner teenage girl was quite happy to see songs by both Boyz II Men and *NSYNC were included. My mother's inner teenage girl will be thrilled when I play her the Beach Boys classic 'Little Saint Nick'. Songs by Paul McCartney, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, and Celine Dion are also included. The formatting of the book was very thoughtfully done. All songs are kept to either one page, or one set of open pages. No page turning required! :D ... show more

    • Lots of Songs, easy to play, lots of Christmas fun!
I bought this book when I was looking for Christmas music to play at my Church on Christmas Eve. I wanted something easy to play since I am recently getting back into playing my violin as an adult. I never played first violin, so this book is perfect since pretty much all the songs are written in first position. It has a TON of songs! Many classic Christmas hymns to chose from as well as many more modern songs too. I was able to pick music for church and have some fun just playing through the book. This is great for an intermediate level player. An advanced player can basically site read the whole book. Great value for the money! ... show more

    • Wonderful Violin Christmas Sheet Music; Don't miss this one.
This is a wonderful Christmas Book for Violin. I purchased 2 other books last Christmas and this book is so much better; it is perfect. It is filled with countless songs easy to transition from song to song; I will be using it to play at local Nursing Home and for family. It is Christmas music they will be able to sing with the violin without difficulty. I am a Intermediate player. It is simple enough I can easily sight read but not so simple to be irritating and too easy. ... show more

    • A Wonderful Assortmnet of Christmas Carol's!
The only reason I am not giving this book 5 stars is because I bought the Kindle version. Almost every song is divided into two pages. On my machine you can only view one page at a time, and it takes a second or two to go to the next page, even if you have a hand free to do so, Very irritating when you are trying to play them. A person would have to print them out, and put them on one page (or at least arrange them so you can see both pages at once, without having to turn pages). But the assortment of songs is wonderful. There are some very old songs and some more modern ones. The violin version (I see there are versions for other instruments) is a little more advanced than I play át this point, but not impossible.     • Great! Big book with lots of songs and relatively simple to play, but not too simple so keeps it fun for more skilled players
This is the best book. Easy but not too easy and wide variety. TONS of songs. I've played my violin outside the mall at Christmastime for years and it takes me about an hour to go through the whole book! Very nice and good for a wide variety of skill. I keep losing the book and buying it again!

    • Great selection of carols from standards to the obscure
This is a great bang for your buck. It includes dozens of Christmas songs. Some are very-well known, and some I have never heard before. They are all very well arranged and playable. I like that it includes some of the more modern-day Christmas carols, because these can be very hard to find for violin. The arrangements are good for any skill level... I don't think anyone can get bored playing such lovely Christmas carols. ... show more

    • Fantastic Collection of Christmas Songs!
Since I am a beginner on the violin, I wanted to get a "head start" for the Christmas season. I am finding nearly all of the carols I have heard in the past plus several new ones with which I had not been acquainted. Also several Christmas songs are included from the movies.
