I recently bought a PS5 and the chair I was using was an old dining room chair that was rock hard in the seat and giving me sciatic and back pain like you wouldn't believe, and my couch is too far away from the screen to be usable. Decided it was time to finally buy a gaming chair, but was a little hesitant because with me being 350 lbs and a little "roomy at the hips", I really didn't know if it would be comfortable, and I couldn't sit in it before deciding to go ahead with the purchase. Let me tell you I'm glad I bought it!!! The seat cushion is not ultra plush or anything, but it does provide the right amount of support so that I don't feel the frame under my rear end. It's also wide enough that I'm not hanging off the sides, and because of that, the armrests are also spaced far enough apart that I don't feel like I'm stuffed in the chair at all. The seat back is comfy and, even though they didn't show it in the pictures here, it did indeed come with the extra lumbar cushion that you see in the photos of the model sold here under the "VON RACER" name. The chair feels very sturdy, even when using the rocker function, and I don't feel unsteady or like the chair is going to give out at all. That was something I was really worried about. The height adjustment is also nice. I have it all the way down and that's perfect for my height. If you're tall you won't have any problems since this thing can go really high if you need it. The armrests aren't plush, they're plastic, and even though it would have been nice to have had them upholstered, they aren't uncomfortable. They're also adjustable just like in the product description. Now for the assembly. First off, this chair is rather heavy, and getting the box upstairs by myself was a bit of a challenge. You might need help with that. Instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow. I put it together by myself and it took me just over an hour, mostly because the final two screws you have to install are really short and it required a bit of wrestling with (and cursing at) the plastic covers on the sides to get the holes aligned in order to put them in. Also two of the casters were hard to snap in, but they eventually did. One thing I would recommend is that you put the paddles that control seat height and rocker lockout on so that they face the REAR of the seat instead of the front like in the booklet. Having them face front makes them unnecessarily hard to get to, and I don't know why they said to put them in that way. Overall, I'm perfectly happy with this chair and my butt and back are as well! ... show more

I have to say that I have gone through a few gaming chairs. I've always tried to save a little money and decided to go with the less expensive chair. Let me say that this is the best chair I've ever owned. It's very roomy and has a solid metal base with larger wheels making the overall construction very sturdy. The arm rests are adjustable and the addition of the cooling memory foam pad is an added bonus!     • Good chair for a 6'4 person who likes sitting crisscross. Not ergonomic though.

Will update the review 3 months from now. So far the chair has been great for the past week. As a 6'4 person I find it wonderful that I can actually put my head on a headrest instead of the headrest on my neck. I also like to sit crisscross and I find there's enough room for my legs to fit on the chair. Not sure if this is because I slouch or the design of the chair, but I noticed that I can only use the headrest comfortably if I'm actually resting and not on my PC. Comfort wise it feels like I'm sitting on a typical chair. I am 215 lbs and I do find the cushion to be kind of firm, but I think the chair is designed for someone with a little more to love and it would probably be a little more squishy for them. I do think over the next few months as break in the chair it will form to my body a little better. Assembling the chair is pretty straightforward. My only complaint is the armrest should be marked whether it's left or right. It's subtle but there is a difference in how much armrests can move in the forward/backwards direction. If you mix them up the armrests could be too close to your elbows. This is not an ergonomic style chair though, so do not expect to have peak support in all the areas. I would compare this more to a comfortable chair for TV watching in the house with a bit more adjustability. Plus for the price is still a really great deal. UPDATE: So far it's been a great chair. Cushion is still nice and has formed a bit better to my body which I like. Only negative is after three months I noticed on the left side backrest to bench connection (side without angle adjustment) has become creaky. This creak is within the backrest itself and I think related what the bolts anchor to. Sadly it's not customer serviceable without taking apart the fabric. Thankfully I don't notice it when I have my headset on so I guess that's a plus. ... show more

Just got the chair. Easy assembly for anyone who is average in mechanical aptitude. It took me 15 minutes. I will echo one statement I saw in another comment though, make sure you tighten down ALL the bolts in the chair, not just the ones you need to use. It will squeak a bit until you do. Other than that, I am very happy with the chair so far. It is very comfortable for a 6"6" guy. Only downside is the headrest doesn't quite fit the build, though the only office chairs I have ever sat in that do cost $1k or more (sometimes much much more). Base looks strong enough. Couple of places I would have expected to see more complete welding on the pre-assembled section, but now I am getting really knit picky. So far so good. I hope to be comfortable for year in this chair. ... show more
