    • It does not seem the diognostics go that deep for an 2005 T1N Sprinter when compared to Autel.

I am using this on T1N Sprinter 1st gen North Amecian version. It seems like it is fairly easy to use (it is old tech - like me) but I think the diognostics did not seem as deep as the Autel AP200 but I may not be using it correctly, even though I use to be an IT guy.     • Reads codes Doesnt clear stored memory - Doesnt seem to be for a 2019 Sprinter 3.0L diesel?

Several problems so far. Bought this for a 2019 MB Sprinter 3.0L diesel. First it will not link up via the VIN process, or manually. In manual, there is nothing in the menu that remotely resembles a selection for my vehicle. Not even VS30. I tried them all anyway. So I just read the codes from the diagnostic Icon menu option. It did identify a P2196 (O2 sensor). It would only clear the temporary codes. Not the the P2196 code stored in memory. A DIY replacement on the sensor would not clear the stored code, nor would this iCarSoft scanner. MB Dealer had to clear the code. Which cost $. I could have obtained the same result having an auto parts store scan it for me. Software update doesn’t follow as given in manual. So far unable to reach iCarSoft to talk to someone live. Tried calling the listed number for iCarSoft several times well within their listed hours. Ring no answer. No message, doesn't go to voice mail. Tried emailing to get a live contact for more details and to walk through a software update. They emailed me back and provided a link to a youtube video made by a third party. Which was all over the place, with a different model/version. With the only other email content. "Have a nice day". Their customer service must not exist? I recommend paying more for a different brand. A waste of money so far. ... show more

Got scan tool, updated and got to work. Have a 2022 sprinter 3.0 diesel. Helps to have a resource to look up and clear all the odd warnings. Seems expensive but much cheaper than driving a few hundred miles and being out possibly thousands of dollars at dealership. At least with this you can sort of interpret what your sprinter wants or needs,,, solve and then clear warnings. ... show more
