I love this retinol serum however be aware it's concentration is higher than others so a little goes a long way. I never had any skin irritation or any issues when applying it in my regular skincare routine. However it's advised not to use retinol every day or when scrubbing your face. It's very lightweight and your skin is able to absorb it nicely so it won't leave your face oily. I noticed that if you don't keep it in the fridge that the color of the serum may change to a darker color due to oxidation so best to keep it in a regular fridge. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Ladies, look no further for your new retinol bestie. Scentless, moisturizing repairs and dryness and leaves smooth skin behind. I do notice this is the oiliest of retinols I’ve ever used but I actually love it. Paired last before my moisturizer I feel like it feel soaks into my skin and helps repair those super fine lines. Super moisturizing because it also contains squalene. It’s a great value for the money. I only use it at night because it is a bit oily. Within 5-7 it has absorbed. It comes in a dark glass bottle as well with a dropper which I love. I quality is amazing although I do wish they offered a stronger formula for those of us who is use to retinol. There is no smell which I love. Extremely easy to use. There’s not been a lot of peeling at all but it maybe because I need stronger. It’s a fantastic product. Compared to other retinols on the market, this has only one questionable ingredient that has the potential to be an endocrine disruptor, but more science research is needed on the matter. This is meant to be the last step in your skincare routine without a moisturizer. I tried three different moisturizers after applying this retinol, but they all pilled. I use the retinol oil as my last step, and my skin feels hydrated, so there was no need for me to apply a moisturizer afterwards. I love that this retinol is powerful but also gentle on my skin. I experienced drying the first time I used this, but I also used it three days in a row. I learned afterward that you need to start slow, and eventually my skin barrier worked itself out. I apply this a few hours before bed so it has time to absorb into my skin. I also apply the COSRX Snail Mucin 96 essence before hand. If you have never used retinol, I would suggest starting with their 0.1% cream and slowly building yourself up to this product. I didn’t experience any skin purging like others have. To avoid or lessen skin purging, I’d recommend using a gentle BHA/AHA cleanser the morning before and after your retinol treatment. Adding this simple step cleared up my skin when I first started using retinol. It expedited the purging process. ... show more

I really like this Retinol. Actually I love all things COSRX. Ive been using their products for a few months and I can tell a difference in my skin and I'm starting to get compliments from my sisters and friends that my face looks smooth and bright! I didn't have any acne or anything just wanting to age gracefully and I think this is truly helping. This is a light, liquid like serum. A little goes a long way. Works good, and fine lines go away after use, but...I hate the oily ness of it, I thought i wouldn't mind, but I do, unfortunately. But if you don't mind oilyness then thats fine.
