Don't be fooled by those telling you that .7mm and .5mm mechanical pencils are superior. Those skinny lead boys are good if you love breaking off your tip every tenth character you write. Are you a precision artist or draughtsman? No, we know you aren't or you wouldn't be looking at BIC plastic mechanical pencils in the first place. So do yourself a favor and get some of these cheap, effective, and durable .9mm BIC mechanical pencils. They're so affordable you'll be losing them and loaning them to the same friend that still owes you $15 for that mediocre craft beer you bought for him last year, and you won't even care because you know you still have a drawer full of them back in your IKEA desk at your 400 sq. foot studio apartment... you cheapskate. ... show more

These pencils were a steal. My son loves to use mechanical pencils. He is a freshman in high school, and he goes through them pretty quick. The price great, and alot of pencils come in the case . The colors are nice and vibrant too.
