  • Barely any cons! Very good and cute!
These pencils work great. If you like the combination of colored pencils and mechanical pencils, these are the ones to go. They are great for art, amazing for notetaking, and write smoothly. The refills can be found here on Amazon. They don’t come in this package, but the pencils already have a stick of refill in each. They are comfy to write with and yes, there is an eraser on the end! It erases perfectly well. The only issue with these pencils is that they break semi easily. But you shouldn’t be pressing too hard anyway! Use gently. The colors are red, orange, green, blue, and purple. And they appear pastel. ... show more

  • Worth the price
The good: The color is vibrant and you don’t need to go over lines again and again. The mid: Like the other reviews said the lead is fairly fragile and breaks easily. But it’s easy to avoid a break by moderating the pressure you use. I ordered these for note taking so I have no idea if they would be good for art or not. The bad: The eraser at the end of the pencil is terrible. Do yourself a favor and get a better eraser. ... show more

  • Nice pencils
They are good pencils, but don't hold a lot of lead. They also don't come with much lead (2-3 bars) so plan on buying extra lead with your pencil purchase.

  • Finally found some colored leads pencils that won't break!
The media could not be loaded. I love the clickers on these they click well, and they write very well in light or dark with minimum pressure. The lead doesn't break easily, which is what I have been looking for in these pencil leads. They feel good to color with, too, even when doodling. Their shades are really pretty and can almost even be pastel. They've written well and I tested them with a sketchbook paper swatch page that is just a heavyweight type of paper. I do wish these came with refills together with the pencils, but they come separately at least they do have refills because I am looking forward to using these as permanent colored pencils for colorful writing because I like colored handwritten printing to make writing more pretty and bold. Lead pencils are the nicest to write with for me because I like their fine, skinny, sturdy lead for writing in plain or colored lead. These pencils seem to be sturdy in their lead as regular lead pencil leads, 0.7 lead I use mostly. I do not use the eraser that comes on the pencils because I don't want to get it so low by erasing with it that it looks terrible and it'll get to a stump then I can't take the lead out properly because I end up taking the refill led and sticking through the bottom entrance where you write to refill the pencil. I have done erasing tests on these on the heavy-weight sketchbook paper with a hi polymer block eraser from Pentel, it erased these pretty well all that's left is very faint shades if you write dark, and if you write light then it seems to be completely gone, I tried to write dark and light to see both results at once. ... show more

  • Very fun
Fun for drawing! Color quality is (reasonably) not comparable to that of proper colored pencils, but fairly solid for being mechanical pencil lead. Lead breaks kind of easily tho

  • very fragile
I was looking for something to make working more cheerful, but unfortunately the lead is very brittle and doesn't last long because of that. Not sure I would buy again. Very disappointed.

  • Perfect for Eraseable Color Coded Notes
I love these for my music practice! I keep them in my music bag, and use them to mark up my score all the time. Its amazing to be able to color-code my notations, and have the ability to erase things if something changes.

  • Lead is so brittle
I have been drawing for a few years now and this was by far my least favorite pencil I’ve ever tried. The lead in a few pencils was shattered. The purple one was the worst. It was shattered and jammed so many times over I pulled nearly 10 pieces out and there wasn’t any usable lead at the end. It was also difficult to unjam it, the inside was weirdly staticky and the lead clings to the side rather than easily being able to click and push more lead out. For the ones that had lead remaining, when I went to draw or sketch or whatever with them, it snapped sooo easily while I was drawing that I struggled to make a finished piece. It only comes with about 2 pieces of lead, and it snaps one way or another. I’m not sure how so many are making this work. Props to anyone who’s drawn anything with these. It’s a mountain of a task to create anything with these and honestly, the color payout sucks. The only way I could use these is maybe maybe to sketch out a drawing as the underlayer and then use a proper tool to finish the art piece. ... show more
