We assembled the bed, it looks great, and the child really likes it. However, after assembling it, we discovered several defects. They do detract from the appearance of the furniture, but we decided not to disassemble and return it.

It is very low for the child below. We didn’t use the platform and I should have gotten a very thin mattress. It’s also had a lot of cosmetic damage to start. So just all all in all not great.

We love this bunk bed, however my daughter (2.5) prefers to sleep on our floor. She mostly uses as a playground. Very sturdy and versatile! Many pieces to put together but worth the work.
